Today, we’ll turn our focus over to Jasper, where you’ll find Pyramid Lake and an endless array of winter activities in one of the most beautiful settings on the planet. Whether you want to dive into all the winter sports imaginable or you’re more interested in a delicious hot chocolate with an even more delicious view, this is the destination for you. Ice Skating & Snowshoeing While we’re blessed with a wide variety of stunning places to ice skate in nature, Pyramid Lake sure does take the cake. Even better, The Pyramid Lake Lodge maintains the ice so you know you’ll be getting it in great cognition. You will love skating around or playing a little game of hockey surrounded by the snow-covered mountains. There are skate rentals available, if you need. If you prefer a more leisurely winter activity, snowshoeing is another great option that you can do right around the skating area. There are also tons of surrounding trails if you want to make your journey a little bit longer. Of course, rentals are also available. Sleigh Rides & Special Events If you want to be fully transported into a winter wonderland, you might as well take advantage of the magical sleigh rides offered by the Lodge.
