Entering the Paradise Garden Pura Taman Ayun means "beautiful garden temple". The beauty here is not just the appearance that can be seen at a glance, but the peace that goes deep into the soul. As I walked through the gate, I saw a large green meadow and a magnificent pond in front of me. Lotus flowers were blooming and koi were floating in the pond, surrounding the temple into a "water garden". This picture makes people feel as if they are in a paradise-like garden. Located approximately 17km from Ubud and an hour plus drive from Denpasar, the temple's cultural and spiritual importance dates back to the Mengwi Empire. It is a beautiful temple with intricate stories woven onto the architecture and space sequences. We enjoyed walking the temple grounds.
