I must rec
I must recommend this hotel - a stay with WOW-Effect
If you are looking for a first class hotel, with a 1A service and best equipment, you will find it here.
Although as a typical vacation hotel, with a large pool area and its own private beach directly at the beach bar, it also offers business travelers a comprehensive service.
I personally liked the fitness area, which was designed with heart and mind. In the Pullman G, they didn't just put a few machines in the room, but worked with a clear concept. Right across from the gym is the in-house kids club including a movie theater, which also allows parents to work out in a relaxed manner.
The food is, as usual from the Pullman hotel group, on the highest level.
The hotel room (Executive Double Bed Room) is of course clean, equipped as usual, if a bit squat. Since I carry a lot of technology with me on business trips, the desk here would be a bit too cramped for me. Otherwise, there is nothing to criticize about the house.
One important piece of info for travelers who care about the beach area and ocean access. The sand on this section of the beach is coarse-grained and there are numerous large stones in the sea that make for an unpleasant path. Not an issue for swimmers, playing children may quickly lose interest. However, since the pool area is more than generous, this can be compensated well.
It's a beautiful beachfront property so the location is fantastic. Overall experience in the hotel was great.
Concierge staff were attentive. Staff at the pool area, restaurant and at the executive lounge were polite. Fantastic service overall!
Room is basic but clean and has great view overlooking the beach. Bed is super comfy.
Breakfast was good with lots of options, and food at the beach restaurant was great. We ordered some pizza, chicken quesadilla, Caesar salad, etc.
Lastly, thanks for complimentary birthday cake for our friend celebrating her birthday on that weekend.
The only slight disappointment we had was that we felt the checkin counter staff was not that welcoming when we arrived and not even a basic follow up gesture how was our stay when we checked out. It seemed like they rushed to finish their business with us. I felt saddened we didn't feel their gesture of warm welcome and appreciation about our stay, most especially that hotels nowadays should be more than thankful they still have some guests during this pandemic season.
There was also no sort of quick info tour regarding hotel facilities and activities that we can do during our stay - whether fitness is open or not, if pool has shortened operating time or if there's a limit of people swimming during this month in view of the ongoing pandemic, etc.
