On the last day in Yunnan, I stayed at a rather special hotel, Pu'er Kaiyuan Meizi Lake Hotel. The hotel is a resort-type hotel in Pu'er, located on the south side of the city by Meizi Lake, and is the most upscale hotel by the lake. The hotel has a long history and was originally not open to the public. It gradually opened up its operations and has been in business since 2011. Although the facilities are old, they are well-maintained. For example, the public pool is open to the public and well-maintained, and the badminton court downstairs is quite large. Although the gym facilities are old, they are also well-maintained, and the children's playground and yoga room are fully equipped. The hotel's restaurant is also quite spacious, with a buffet style that is quite impressive, and the adjacent grand banquet hall is also well done. The hotel's main building is under renovation, so a side building is being used as a temporary lobby, which includes a third-party tea room facing the lake. The previously operated spa is currently closed. All of the above facilities are fairly standard, but what truly amazed me was the hotel's No. 1 villa room type, with 11 bedrooms that can accommodate 18 people.
