Pudu Temple is located on Nanchizi Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was originally a Lama Temple built in the early Qing Dynasty. The original site was part of the Hongqing Palace in the South City of the Ming Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty Regent (Prince Rui) Dorgon Palace. In the 33rd year of Emperor Kangxi (1694), the old Prince Rui's mansion was rebuilt into the Mahakala Temple. In 1776, Qianlong named the temple "Pudu Temple". Pudu Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty. The top of the hall with yellow tiles and green trimmings, and the front building is green tiles and yellow trimmings. There are 3 floors with the eaves out of the eaves, which is rare in the architectural style. The architecture of Pudu Temple is very unique. It is built on a high platform and has low window lattices. According to ancient construction experts, such a typical Manchu style cultural relic building is located here in Beijing.
