The day before visiting Lüshun Prison, there was a heavy snowfall, and on the day of the visit, the prison yard was covered in white. The red brick prison, the snow, and the blue sky created a mysterious harmony. Since many anti-Japanese activists suffered severe persecution here, the cold snow must have brought them even more painful cold. It's somewhat ironic that the suffering of those people now appears as a beautiful sentiment to tourists.
