One of the oldest churches in Singapore
Address - Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church, 77 Prinsep Street, Singapore 188649
Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church is located along the quieter stretch of Prinsep where there is a lot less human and vehicular traffic. It was built way back in 1843 by a London missionary, Reverend Benjamin Peach Keasberry.
Back then, it was the first Straits Chinese church in Singapore. It was also where the first Boys’ Brigade was established in 1930. In January 2000, the government gazetted this as a national monument and it had been conserved as part of Singapore’s history ever since!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
