The Deep, Hull, UK A great day out for the family or passing of time. Emmerse yourself in giant tanks with many different species. See history throughout from fossils, to extinct and current species, and follow the timeline handrail as you venture through the information plaques and creatures of the sea world. Get your fill of penguin life and touch the ice wall as you walk through to see them! Take a break and enjoy a packed lunch or purchase something to eat/drink from the half way cafe. 🐬Dive into The Deep at Hull Oceanarium and encounter an underwater wonderland As soon as you step into The Deep, the futuristic architectural appearance will capture your attention. The unique streamlined design looks like a giant submarine about to break through the waves and set sail. It blends perfectly with the surrounding Humber River scenery. Just taking photos and checking in outside is enough to create a full atmosphere. As you enter the museum, you are instantly brought into a bizarre ocean world. The first stop is the "Deep Sea Exploration" area, where acrylic glass creates a huge underwater tunnel. Walking through it, it feels like you are really in the deep sea. Overhead and around you, sharks cruise freely with their majestic fins spread, and occasionally a giant sea turtle swims slowly by. The oppressive feeling of being surrounded by the giant marine beasts at close range is both exciting and enjoyable. What's even more amazing is that when groups of colorful fish pass by like dreamy ribbons, I feel like a mermaid in a fairy tale 🧜‍♀️, having a wonderful dance with the marine creatures. Go further in and you will arrive at the "Polar Journey". The polar ice and snow are perfectly reproduced here, and the cute little penguins are the absolute protagonists. They walk on the ice with their short legs, swaying unsteadily. From time to time, they dive into the water and swim flexibly. They are so cute that it's unfair. Hull is one of the most popular cities to visit mainly because of the Deep -the biggest aquarium in 🇬🇧 it has so many different types of sea life which is amazing for adults as well as kids they even have a megalodons jaw full of his massive teeth which I personally find amazing. It’s definitely worth visiting it’s a city rich in culture and beautiful architecture besides the aquarium.
