Say hello to Uncle Ho... Enjoy the night at Saigon Walking Street
#VietnamTravel
After being full from the Saigon Prince Hotel lounge, I went down in front of the hotel to walk around the walking street.
In the middle is a walking street, flanked by streets on both sides. There are hotels, private and government office buildings, department stores, etc., stretching from Saigon City Hall all the way to the river.
There is a fountain that changes colors and dances at intervals. Vietnamese families come out to walk around, and teenagers can be seen. It is a place for people in the city to relax.
This area is like a city square. I walked around to see the lights and the city until the end of the street... and found a statue of Uncle Ho (Ho Chi Minh), a Vietnamese statesman, in front of Saigon City Hall, which is an important landmark of this city.
I walked back to the hotel and slept well. Tomorrow I have a mission to tour the Mekong Delta.
