My very good friend and I decided to have a short staycation but we wanted something relaxing and away from city noise. Then we discovered the “POUSADA DE COLOANE” I got suprised by the beauty of the hotel, it’s simple, very elegant and relaxing at the same time. Upon check-in we asked the receptionist the meaning of Pousada out of curiousity and we found out its a portuguese word meaning “LITTLE”. He said that it was first built as House Manor in 1930s and transitioned into hotel at 1970s. You will be relax with the beauty of the view from your balcony and the waves is very helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Pousada de Coloane is a casual hotel with a great outdoor pool and Portuguese restaurant, It is directly located on Cheoc Van Beach. Rooms are great and have balcony overlooking the South China sea or Mountains of Mainland China. The beds are also comfortable and the room is clean and tidy. Our booking comes with a free breakfast, the restaurant serves Portuguese food and it's really mouthwatering. Over all experience is great, we are able to relax because of the nature atmosphere of the hotel. The staffs are courteous and are very attentive to our needs.

Recommended to friends who love nature, Bamboo Bay Boutique Hotel has not many rooms, but it is very suitable for family travel because it is opposite the beach, and the hotel facilities are relatively new and European style, giving you a feeling of being on vacation. You can watch the sunset in the evening, feel the sea breeze on the small balcony at night, enjoy a buffet breakfast in the morning, and swim in the hotel swimming pool. Pousada de Coloane is set just back from Cheoc Van Beach on the south of Coloane Island which is fused to Taipa Island and attached to the Macau Peninsula proper by bridge. In other words, it's the perfect place to stay for anyone who wants to explore Macau but doesn't want to be stuck in the thick of the city. Rooms at the hotel are large, if a little run down (and with scary-looking air jets in the bathtub), and all have a small balcony with superb views over the curving beach and forested hills. If that's not enough, the hotel has an outdoor patio with an even better view over the bay, perfect for sipping on a Macau Beer or grabbing a bite from the restaurant, which serves up Portuguese specialties. The pork spare ribs and the traditional chicken stew are both good, and if the service is a little slow, who's in a hurry? Breakfast is included a serviceable cooked buffet which will be cold unless you arrive right at the start—and the staff at the hotel are friendly and accommodating. Best of all is the location. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get there by bus🚍 in Taipa. Get off at Bamboo Bay BBQ, cross across the road and down the stairs. Once you enter, what you see is the swimming pool 🏊‍♂️ not big, like a TVB mansion feel. We went to the hotel restaurant during afternoon tea, there is not a single tourist here, all seem to be regular customers who have some money, have time to chill and sip champagne 🥂 There are foreigners and locals, it feels like Hong Kong's Repulse Bay, rich people are in the social venue that meets by chance. The architecture of the orange roof 🏘 coupled with the commanding beach view 🏖 feels a bit like going to Lisbon, Portugal. The price of tea here is reasonable, 300 dollars for two people 🧀 cheese platter set, rich style, with ham and intestines, plus two glasses of Spanish fruit wine Sangria 🍹 strongly recommended 🥰 In addition, steak sandwich tea set about 150.
