I definitely recommend the hike upto the top as well. Get there early if you want to get parking. Walk upto the bridge for best views! It also has cool gift shops for getting souveniers.

Take a tram (cable car), and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery that you can't see from any other viewing point on the egg-shaped cable car! Very worth it 👍 [RedHeart] Tips: Drive to Portland Aerial Tram-Lower Terminal (Lower Tram Terminal, 3303 S Bond Ave, Portland, OR 97239) or Marquam Hill Upper Tram Terminal (This is inside the OHSU hospital after getting off the cable car. Go forward about 50 meters and there is a door on the right. Enter the observation deck, so it is recommended that you drive to the lower terminal. Tickets can be sold at the door, and you can scan the QR code to enter. Ticket price: The tram costs $8.5 a day, and you can travel back and forth as many times as you want within 7 days

#FallTravel I don't go to parks and travel in orange and September. I visited Alo Going to **Meltnomah Falls** in Oregon in the fall was an amazing experience 🍂. The falls flow from the mountains surrounded by trees whose leaves turned warm orange 🍁. The scene was like a fairy tale with the fall nature flowing into the falls. The cool and fresh fall air added a charming feeling while walking through the surrounding corridors 🌿. The famous bridge over the falls gave me a great view of the water and fallen leaves 🌉. **Meltnomah Falls** in the fall was a wonderful combination of the power of nature and calm beauty 🍂.

#waterfall Elowah Falls is located between Multnomah and Wahchella. The parking lot is not large, and you can walk 1 mile upstream and 0.7 miles downstream for free. From the parking lot to around 0.4mi, you will encounter a fork in the road. To continue, you will go downstream, and to the right, you will go swimming. I strongly recommend going straight to the previous location, as the downstream scenery is more spectacular than the upstream, and the road is also easier to climb.

Getting There - You need to get to the gateway transit center which is about 20 minutes from downtown Portland on the metro. Once there pre book tickets from the website as there’s no wifi close by, it was around $15 for a return bus ticket. Once at the gateway transit look for “Columbia gorge express” it was located at the front of the bus line up when I went. Board and takes you right outside the falls. Attractions - The falls itself are breathtaking. They have walks for all capabilities, whether you want to hike to the top or just stay and admired the waterfall from the bottom. The location is great and not too full of tourists so makes it easier to get around. Hotels - I didn’t see any near by hotels. However I stayed in Portland center and was able to get to the falls so easily. You could even Uber there for under $30 one way Food & Restaurants - Located right outside the falls is the “Multnomah Lodge” with a rustic style restaurant. Prices were great considering the location it was in and no competition near by. I got the club sandwich and was very satisfied. Shopping - The Falls are located in the middle of nowhere the only shop is the gift shop right outside where you will find your usual bits and pieces and a small snack stand outside so come prepared if you want more than that.

Crater Lake National Park Oregon's only national park, Before June, it was not fully open. When we went, we encountered heavy fog in the afternoon. The fog really affects a lot 😭. Multnomah Falls Between Seattle and Portland. Many people are taking photos, From below, walk a short distance to reach the bridge and see the waterfall. Smith Rock Personally, I think it's just average. Need to go mountain climbing 🧗‍♀️. When I went there, I saw many rock climbing enthusiasts climbing. But if you are not a rock climbing enthusiast and have limited time, This attraction can be skipped.

We traveled from Vermont to Oregon for a wedding, but had a couple days to take in the sights. Multnomah Falls is a great place to take the family for a lovely view and a short easy walk. Our party included some elderly and handicapped folks so this was a perfect way for all of us to get up close to a spectacular waterfall. We thoroughly enjoyed the short easy hike and picked up a few mementos from the gift shop to bring home.

From the chimney of Tacoma all the way to Portland at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. I saw the sunrise in the fog of the industrial city, and also saw the pink sunset under the snowy mountain. I was fortunate to witness the wedding of a couple at the US military flight base. Perfect road trip to sleep under the stars as the end of the day.
