I had the pleasure of trying the Afternoon Tea at The Murray last Saturday with my friends and it was absolutely wonderful. 🌹 We sat down at Popinjays in the hotel and enjoyed the afternoon tea set 🫖. The savory dishes include sandwiches, egg pies, etc., and the desserts include scones, macarons, chocolate cakes, etc. Each one is delicious and the portion is sufficient. There are many choices of black tea. We chose Earl Grey tea and rose tea, both of which are very fragrant. 🤗🤗🤗 We felt relaxed and happy while enjoying afternoon tea, admiring the elegant atmosphere of the hotel and wonderful live music. We also took a lot of photos and left beautiful memories. I went to Popinjays for dinner recently, the environment was very atmospheric, just as they launched a new menu, paired with fine wine is super good 🫶🏻 First comes the hearty Japanese oysters Japanese Oyster & Caviar, garnished with caviar for more salty and fresh. Then came the caviar angel noodles Caviar Angel Hair frozen angel noodles are the first time, the noodles covered with sauce and raw red shrimp flakes, freshness full. Popinjays is a bar located at the top of The Murray Hotel— a 5-star hotel at 22 Cotton Tree Drive in Central. You have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. At this time of year, with the cool weather, and especially with the wonderful views we had just a few weeks ago, I would say it is a MUST that you visit Popinjays for a drink and to enjoy the view at sundown. For a rooftop bar at a 5-star hotel, the prices for the drinks are honestly not bad! There are also so many choices that you could go for! As I was still 18 years old at the time, I enjoyed a mocktail. BUT I will certainly be going back soon to try out some of their cocktails. For the staycation dinner, I booked Popinjays at the Murray Hotel in Hong Kong. Popinjays is on the top floor of the hotel with a terrace. We chose a location for the outdoor terrace The outdoor terrace offers a view of the commercial buildings in Central It feels a bit like a rooftop bar in Thailand We ordered a plate of oysters. The oysters were spicy and fresh with the salty taste of seawater. There are also two baked oysters, which are equally fresh and not overcooked. There is appetizer bread, which is a soft kind The main course was the most surprising For main course we ordered beef and lamb, both were equally excellent The beef is cooked to perfection and has a nice beef flavor.
