Spain Westward Journey ~ Cáceres (Region)
You'll feel like a time traveler as you walk along the narrow cobblestone streets. Surrounded by mansions, Renaissance palaces and churches with stork nests, you’ll understand why Cáceres is a World Heritage City. Get your camera ready to immortalize one of the most beautiful historic town centers in Spain.
Life around the Plaza Mayor
We recommend entering the city through the traditional entrance: the 18th-century Estrella Arch, which is wide enough for horse-drawn carriages to pass through. Below you you’ll see the wide Plaza Mayor, a lively arcaded square with plenty of places to stop for a drink or coffee.

Spain Westward Journey ~ Cáceres (Region)
Trujillo is a town with a lot of history. Walking the narrow cobblestone streets felt like stepping back in time. Medieval architecture, stunning views and rich heritage make it a hidden gem. Whether you're exploring the ancient castle or just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, this is a place where you can really feel the layers of history surrounding you. Beautiful and charming, it is worth every moment of strolling! There are restaurants and bars on the edge of the square. Highly recommended, but I don't think anyone going to Trujillo would miss this place.
