History and Culture
- Old Town: Mazatlán’s Old Town is full of history, with colorful colonial buildings lining the streets. You can stroll along the cobblestone paths and admire the ancient churches, museums and art galleries. In the central square, you can also feel the local life atmosphere.
- Angela Peralta Theater: Built in 1874, it is one of the landmark buildings of Mazatlan. The theater has a gorgeous exterior and exquisite interior decoration, and often hosts various music, dance and drama performances.
- Cathedral: Catedral Basílica de la Inmaculada Concepción, built in 1899, is the largest church in the area. It has a unique architectural style and is decorated with exquisite murals and sculptures.
Natural scenery
- Lighthouse Hill: Located at the southernmost end of the old city, it is the highest point in Mazatlan. It takes about ten minutes to walk along the hillside and then climb 336 steps to reach the top of the mountain. There is a glass bridge on the top of the mountain, overlooking the entire city and sea view.
- Observation Deck: Built in 1873, it is located near Beacon Hill and can be accessed by cable car. Here you can enjoy beautiful sea views, as well as Beacon Hill and the city scenery in the distance.
- Stone Island: It is about 5 minutes by boat from the small pier in the east of the old town. There are beautiful beaches on the island, which is a good place for swimming, sunbathing and surfing.

- Plaza Machado: The square is surrounded by green trees and has many historical buildings. There are also galleries, cafes, bars, etc. nearby. It is an ideal place for people to relax.
- Gran Plaza: It is one of the largest shopping malls in Mazatlan, with many brand stores, restaurants and cinemas, making it a great place for shopping and entertainment.
