The much-anticipated Notre Dame Cathedral
I went to the famous Notre Dame Cathedral 🩷
I didn't know that Notre Dame was in Luxembourg until I got there, but I was very happy because I had always wanted to go there 🥰
I really love the cathedral, and I love the contrast between the stained glass and the light. . 🤤
Maybe because of the time of year, there were hardly any people there, so I was able to spend an elegant time alone 😚🩵
Please visit!

A Tiny European Country!
Location: Luxembourg city in the country of Luxembourg.
Getting there: fly to Luxembourg from many big European cities. Alternatively you can get the train from Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris. They are all within three hours. Not far.
Luxembourg needs only a weekend to explore. 2 nights. But it's a wonderful city. There are lots of green areas mixed in with traditional spires and classic buildings. There are hills to walk up and admire views, bridges to ponder over and nice food too.
An excellent city break choice.

Just love Luxembourg - happy memories!! 🇱🇺
To start my story, I've never thought that the RICHEST country gave me a lot of experience.
From Belgium, me took only 3 hours journey. It is very closed to Belgium until I can't resist to not visit this gorgeous lil country.
What i'd like most about Luxembourg is their beautiful castle, their historical building, their fortress! damn! I love all of it!! I love exploring the city by foot. 👍
Honestly, my single room at Vauban Hotel indeed comfortable. The check in process was fast and they did gave me to check out late.
Do check out my picture and start to pack your bag guys. 😄

Luxembourg, the richest country in the world🇱🇺
🇱🇺A beautiful country where the Middle Ages and the Modern Age coexist, Luxembourg
Hello👋 I'm Cheesecake, traveling the world!
Luxembourg is a very small country, but it's a country that has beauty in itself.
It's a place where the urban and old look come together in an amazing way.
It's small enough to tour the entire city in 3 hours, but it's leisurely and you can feel a completely different feeling from the surrounding countries!
It's a country with the highest GDP per capita, and all public transportation is free👍🏻 Even the "air conditioning" is great ㅠㅠ!!
It's located in the middle of Europe, but I don't go there often, so I didn't have any information, but it's nice to just walk wherever your feet take you🥹
Why not stop by once when you go to Europe?

Luxembourg
Luxembourg is kind if the so-called city-states. It is the smallest country in the European Union sandwiched between France, Belgium and Germany. The capital of #luxembourg is Luxembourg city. It doesn't looks like the busy capital town, but more looks like a quite small town in the province which is very nice. The city could be easily explored for just a day.

The Church
The Church of Our Lady of Luxembourg was built between 1613 and 2121. It is a famous late Gothic renaissance style and one of the symbols of Luxembourg. The three towering spires were added when they were later expanded. They are extremely conspicuous. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The structure of the northern part of the church is a combination of the Renaissance art style and the Baroque style. The interior of the church is splendid, the inner altar is decorated with a precious alabaster statue, and the wall pillar is engraved with an Allah image.

Fully know
Fully known as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Luxembourg is surrounded by neighboring countries France, Germany and Belgium. It is a small inland country and the only remaining Grand Duchy of the European continent, the capital city of Luxembourg. Because of the small size of the country, the number of castles, and the name of "the pocket kingdom" and "the country of the thousand fort". It is natural for France and Germany not to say that it is a big country in Europe. Belgium, which is the headquarters of the EU, is also very important. However, it seems that Luxembourg has always had no sense of existence among these big countries.
When I came to this land in person, I realized that Luxembourg was a highly developed capitalist country and one of the founding members of the European Union and NATO. It has several sub-institutions of the European Union, such as the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Auditors. And the European Investment Bank, known as the "third capital" of the European Union after Brussels and Strasbourg. At the same time, Luxembourg is also a highly developed industrial country, the most important private banking centre in the Eurozone, and the second largest investment trust centre in the world after the United States. Finance, radio and television, and steel are the three pillar industries of the economy. Luxembourg has a very low unemployment rate and its life expectancy is 80 years.
It is worth mentioning that although Luxembourg's natural resources are scarce, the market is small, and the economy is highly dependent on foreign countries, the per capita GDP has ranked first in the world for many years. It turned out that Luxembourg is the real local country, but it is too low-key to appear to have no sense of existence.

Ah, across
Ah, across thousands of miles, I finally came to the long-lost Luxembourg. The whole country is like a big forest. There are many castles in the suburbs. We went to the most famous Fianden Castle and saw the castle for the first time. A little excited! I remember the teacher in the history class said that the country is small, but the per capita GDP is very high, and it is the richest in Europe. So I remembered it. After I came, I found that the mountains are good and the water is high... I have a high salary and high prices. I am waiting for tourists... I want to make a small public offering in the old castle.
Jojos trip.

Exploring Luxembourg: A Wonderful Experience
Getting There
Luxembourg, a small yet charming country in Europe, is easily accessible by various means of transport. I flew into Luxembourg Airport, which is located just 6 km from the city center. From the airport, there are several options such as taxis, buses, or rental cars to get into town.
Attractions
Luxembourg is renowned for its stunning attractions. I started my tour at the Casemates du Bock, a fascinating underground tunnel system with a rich history. Then, I took a stroll across the Adolphe Bridge, an architectural icon of the city, and visited the Grand Ducal Palace to admire its majestic beauty. Don’t miss the Grund old town with its cobblestone streets and charming historic houses.
Hotels
Luxembourg offers a wide range of accommodations, from luxurious to budget-friendly. I stayed at Le Place d’Armes Hotel, right in the heart of the city, which was perfect for sightseeing and getting around. This hotel stands out with its classic style, professional service, and modern amenities.
Food & Restaurants
Luxembourgish cuisine is a delightful blend of French, German, and Belgian influences. I tried Judd mat Gaardebounen, a flavorful smoked pork dish with broad beans, at Um Dierfgen restaurant. Also, the Chocolate House café near the Grand Ducal Palace is a must-visit for delicious pastries and premium chocolate.
Shopping
Luxembourg is also a shopping paradise with high-end stores and shopping centers. Rue Philippe II and Grand Rue are the city’s top shopping streets, where I found both international and local fashion brands. Don’t forget to pick up some souvenirs like Luxembourg wine or handcrafted items.
Luxembourg is truly a fantastic destination with diverse and rich experiences, from history and culture to food and shopping.

[Chocolate temptation at a cafe with a spectacular view] Chocolate House Nathalie Bonn 🍫🏰
#0yentravel
"A super popular chocolate cafe opposite the Grand Ducal Palace. The hot chocolate "spoon chocolate" is a specialty, where you choose your favorite flavor and dissolve it in milk before drinking!
Tea time while looking out at the palace from the second floor seats is bliss.
▶Points: It gets crowded in the afternoon, so it's quiet in the morning / Lots of sweets to take home as souvenirs
▶Access: Right next to the Grand Ducal Palace / Center of the old town

[Center of history and faith] Notre Dame Cathedral ⛪🎶
#0yentravel
"A Gothic-style Catholic cathedral built in the 17th century. The stained glass and pipe organ are beautiful, and the tranquil space is soothing. It is also home to the Grand Ducal family's tomb, and is treasured as the spiritual center of Luxembourg.

▶Access: A short walk from Place de la Constitucion / Right in the center

[Gateway to Europe] Luxembourg Central Station 🚉
#0yentravel
"A beautiful station building that serves as the gateway to the city. It is the terminal where international trains to France, Germany, and Belgium arrive and depart, and its Art Nouveau-style design is impressive.
There are plenty of hotels and restaurants around the station, making it a convenient base for your trip.
▶ Tips: Get maps and information at the tourist information center inside the station
▶ Access: A major point that also serves as the starting point for tram number 1 and various bus lines
"

The perfect location to start your sightseeing.

[Combining learning and play] National Museum of Natural History (Museo di Storia Naturale di Venezia) 🦖📖
#0yentravel
"A wide range of natural history exhibits, from dinosaur fossils to insect specimens. The building itself is a Gothic palace called "Fondaco dei Turchi," and the interior corridors are also charming. Perfect for rainy days or when you want to spend some intellectual time.
▶Points: Exhibits are written in both English and Japanese / 1.5 to 2 hours recommended for viewing
▶Access: Right next to the Vaporetto "San Stae" station"
せお旅
[Former military fortress] Bock's Battery (Forte Marghera – Bocche di Porto) 🔭⚓
#0yentrip
"The remains of a historic battery that protected the area surrounding Venice. It is not well known among tourists, but the scenery where the sea and sky blend together and the tranquility of the ruins are attractive.
Recommended for those who like military ruins and want to see photogenic scenery.
▶Points: Beautiful evening light/The surrounding area is along a canal that is easy to walk along
▶Access: You cannot get there by vaporetto or water bus, so you need to drive or walk from Mestre

A Hidden European Gem — My Visit to Luxembourg
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Luxembourg, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Often overshadowed by its larger neighbors, this tiny country packs a surprising amount of charm, history, and modern flair into its small size.
The capital, Luxembourg City, is a perfect blend of old and new. The dramatic cliffs and the Bock Casemates — an underground tunnel system dating back to the 17th century — were fascinating to explore. Walking through the Grund district felt like stepping into a storybook, with its pastel houses and scenic river views.
Beyond the capital, the countryside was equally impressive. The vineyards in the Moselle Valley offered breathtaking views and delicious wine tastings, while the fairy-tale castles like Vianden Castle added a touch of medieval magic.
One of the things I appreciated most was how clean, safe, and welcoming the country felt. Public transport is free, which made it easy to explore without stress, and locals were polite and helpful.
If you’re looking for a destination that offers European elegance without overwhelming crowds, Luxembourg is absolutely worth adding to your travel list. Whether you’re a history lover, a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression.

🇱🇺Luxembourg, the land of luxury, 2-day travel guide

“The richest country in Europe, Luxembourg. This is how the rich live leisurely!”
✨ This country is so free (for real)
✅ Free Wi-Fi throughout the city
✅ Free public restrooms + cleanliness + even free sanitary pads
✅ Free bus and subway rides for all citizens
✅ Free childcare services
✅ Extremely low crime rate~
✅ All citizens can speak at least 3 languages (French + German + English basic set)

✅ It takes less than 2 hours by car from the south to the north (really compact!)
·
You can fully experience Luxembourg in 2 days!
(Relax and take it easy, no special forces tour~)
[Day 1] Walking around Luxembourg city
• William Square
: A small and cute square in the middle of the city! It's not the main point, so let's take a picture and move on to the next one~
• Grund
: The key point of Luxembourg travel!
I highly recommend looking down from the castle walls or walking down the riverside.
The pictures are really crazy.
• Clausen
: A hilltop town with Fort Thungen.
The scenery is quiet and picturesque.
[Day 2] Time slip into the Middle Ages! Castle + Nature Course
• Schiessentümpel Waterfall
: A fairytale-like waterfall that appears when you walk along the Mullerthal trail.
There are really really many snail fossils hidden in the nearby gravel field (I picked up more than 10 myself)
• Beaufort
: The charm of the medieval castle site is intact~ You can see the entire inside in about 45 minutes.
• Vianden Castle
: Be sure to buy an audio guide (2 euros) and listen to it! There is free Wi-Fi, so no need to worry about data~
A place where the Middle Ages are literally alive and breathing.
• Echternach
: The oldest town in Luxembourg!
A small, peaceful town with an old-fashioned cathedral. A town that is fun to walk around.
