There are a number of rooms, living quarters, and escape routes inside the Piyamit Tunnel. It is a great experience to explore the tunnel as a strategic defense previously. #2024wish There is this legendary Piyamit Tunnel in Betong Friendship Village. The entrance fee costs 40bht (US$1.20) for foreigners. This tunnel was built 1977, 1 kilometre long, 5 to 6 ft wide, completed in 3 months by 50 workers ! The start of our hiking on concrete steps and paths, surrounded by abundance greeneries, fresh cool air and pleasant environment !

Located in Betong, Thailand. Entrance fees for adult, Malaysian: 30 baht. Have to climb the stairs before you get to the exact tunnel. Worth to try! You can also take picture with the millennium trees that is believed had been here for about more than 1000 years. There is a shop selling drinks when you already reach the top. So don't worry if you think you're going to get thirsty. 😉

The air in the tunnel is very fresh, comfortable, quiet, cool. Driving around Betong city is very good. The food is delicious. I like that wherever we stop, we are always welcomed by the locals. And everyone is always giving advice. If we stop somewhere we don't know, they are always ready to give us advice on various things. The people around here are very kind. And there are many places to visit. Very natural.
