Petalozu-Pitugro Waterfall, searching for the heart of Umphang Rapids💚
Find the heart of Umphang "Peto Lor Su - Pitukro Waterfall 💘🌿
Pitukro Waterfall is a waterfall located on the mountain range of Sam Muen
In Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary, Umphang District, Tak Province
It is a waterfall that is known as the largest and highest in Thailand
Pitukro Waterfall is the heart of Umphang. The best time to travel is during the rainy season. We will experience the rain, green nature, the lushness of the forest, walk through various streams and of course we will experience... muddy, muddy and... muddy!!!
This trip we went for 3 days and 2 nights, starting from "Kham Sing Homestay" where we stayed and changed clothes and prepared food there. We started our journey to Ban Kui Le To community. It took about 2 hours by car to reach the starting point. Then it started raining heavily... but luckily, when we started walking, the rain stopped. But we are very prepared with raincoats 555
The difficulty of the hiking trail here is walking through the dirt, mud, and mud because in addition to being slippery, dirty, and messy, we can easily lose our shoes in the mud 555. And for this trip, we did our homework quite well by buying
"Doi Studs" specifically for this trip and it was better than expected. It helped prevent slipping very well. It was better than the hiking shoes we had... confident with every step that
"I won't slip on the mud, hahaha"
The first day of the trail, we had to walk to the camp, a distance of about 4-5 kilometers. In addition to walking through mud and streams the whole way, we also walked through green rice fields in the village in the middle of the forest. It was very beautiful, especially walking during the rainy season when the mist was very pleasant.
For lunch, we stopped to eat by the beautiful stream. After that, we started walking into the rainforest to the camp where we were staying.
We arrived at the camp with Uncle Kamsing's team taking care of the food. There are bathrooms here that are clean (if we help keep it clean). The place to shower and cleanse our bodies every day is to take a bath and play in the very clear and cool waterfall. But it's super easy when we're tired from hiking and on the first day we haven't walked up to Pitugro Waterfall. We'll travel to Pitugro Waterfall on the second morning.
On the second morning, after having breakfast, we prepared to travel to Pitugro Waterfall. The route is quite easy to walk, up and down, steep, alternating with flat, passing small waterfalls, beautiful streams, with photo stops to relieve fatigue along the way. There's a beautiful bamboo bridge to take cool photos while crossing the stream.
Before reaching Pitugro Waterfall, the way up is super steep, climbing and sprinting. But the first image when looking up after crossing the steep path is like "so beautiful!" and it's a heart shape like the reviews say. It's huge, beautiful, and magnificent. We spent a lot of time taking photos while there weren't many people yet...🌨️🌿
After we warmed up our bodies by walking to "Pitugro Waterfall", it was time to use our bodies and release our energy by walking to "Yot Muen Song"... and our goal in mind was "Yot Mamuang Sam Muen "...The steep, steep and extremely steep journey is coming....to be honest, it's really serious, lol...
Please follow my next journey to "Yod Mamuang Sam Muen"
The journey is very tiring and the motto throughout the journey is...🌿🌨️
"Where there is effort, there is effort" 555
