One of San Francisco’s busiest and largest tourist attractions, Pier 39 and nearby Fisherman’s Wharf is a must do for tourists. Pier 39 is surrounded by waterfront dining, street performers, live music, shopping and tons of carnival-like dessert stands.Pier 39 has everything you could ever want or need from Souvenirs, to ice cream there even a store especially for left handed. This place can usually spend up to a day but only one thing is carpark is limited on a busy weekend

Lovely lively place, do much happening in their with lots of happy faces. Good food choices and lots of possibilities for souvenir shopping. Some street performers as well. Exceptional views to the bay, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge and so on. Close to other attractions in San Francisco. Parking right next to it is a expensive, $25 for 2 hours and $35 for 3 hours. Better to park a bit further and walk gently to it. Bring a jacket.

Wonderful and quite warm winter now in SF, one of the best time to visit! Let me introduce a pier39 course :) First you should enjoy the view of pier39 where you can see seaports and lots of interesting shops. And then I recommend to visit boudin bakery, which is famous for Sourdough and Clamchawder! Really amazing - you can also have peet coffee, which is a local coffee franchise! After the lunch you can take cycles around the piers and even visit Golden gate bridge if you want. For dinner, I went to Sotto Mare a famous and popular local Italian! Hehe and then I went to Bueno Vista, one of popular bars and cafes which serves great Irish coffee! You can feel the whiskey in coffee!

There are many piers along the way but pier 39 is my favourite. There are restaurants around the area as well. 📌Chinatown and its Shanghai theme bars Lively town , alot of shops selling souvenirs like magnets at decent prices to choose from. 📌Lombard street - this is the famous crooked street, bring a comfy shoes if you are walking around the area as it’s steep 📌Golden Gate Bridge - beautiful and magnificent bridge as seen in pictures. There is a lot to see and eat at Pier 39, filled with eateries selling chowders, seafood (Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.), cafes (donuts, crepes), souvenirs store. The Pier is vibrant and festive, with cute and quirky decor of the stores, was really fascinating to see and offers a whole lot of instagrammable spots. We love walking at the promenade of the waterfront, enjoying the sea view and the sea breeze, such a relaxing and romantic evening well spent in Pier 39.

The air is fresh here and you get to see many different restaurant around the area. Pier 39 has a nautical feel and I love the Ambiance of the surrounding area. Experience San Francisco like a true fisherman by strolling down San Francisco’s very own pier 39. Along the harbour, there are plenty of piers to see but pier 39 is truly where the attraction is at. You get to experience and see nature’s course of sea lions chilling on the bay and yapping away. There are a lot of fresh seafood restaurants to offer and boat tours as well. I very much enjoyed the sunset walk as it is windy and not too warm. The clam chowder taste great and would definitely recommend it to people. I find a little salty but some peppers would definitely balance it out. If you drive, I recommend parking on the streets 2 junctions away, it is affordable after 4/5pm and is free after 7pm. Enjoy!!
