[2025 Phu Quoc Island Attraction] Travel Guide for Phu Quoc Night Market (Updated Jan)

I set off for a 5-day and 4-night trip to Phu Quoc Island in early December... I stayed in four hotels on the 5th day~ The hotels had been booked a few months ago, so I had completely forgotten about them before departure 😂 Actually, the main purpose of this trip was Relax~ No special itinerary planned! Traveling to Phu Quoc Island generally involves going to the north, central and south, or island hopping. It takes about 2 hours to drive from north to south. The airport is located in the middle, so it is recommended to stay near the airport on the first or last night. 🚕Transportation: call Grab ☀️Weather: May-October rainy season, December-April will be relatively dry, and the temperature does not vary much throughout the year Day1 Hong Kong Airport to Phu Quoc Island - Afternoon flight, it was already 7pm when we arrived at Phu Quoc Island. Phu Quoc Island is 1 hour behind Hong Kong. If you book a free hotel shuttle bus, it takes about 20 minutes to drive to the hotel. -It only takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Phu Quoc Night Market, and dinner will be arranged at Phu Quoc Night Market that night Day 2 Arrive at the South~Hotel -Sunset Town -Cross-sea cable car -Sun World～Water Park -kissing bridge -Fireworks show in the town at sunset at night Day 3 Arrive in central China~Hotel -Hotel Spa -Lunch at a restaurant near the hotel (there are shops on both sides of the road, you can also sit down and try Vietnamese coffee) - Spend a full day in the hotel, swim in the sun and watch the sunset -Dinner will be at the hotel Day4 to the north~Resort -The resort in the north is quite big, with two swimming pools and a beach. The night market in Phu Quoc is called Cho Dem night market which located at heart of Duong Dong Town at Phu Quoc Island. Just walk along the market, there are a lot of stall and restaurant sell variety of fresh seafood and local cuisine such as fried ice cream rolls, traditional vietnamese kuih, grilled skewers, Banh Trang Nuong etc. The most unique highlight in the night market and souvenir is peanut snack. They have up to 30 different flavors. #timetotravel I visited Phu Quoc Island during the rainy season and my experience told me it never rains at night. Considering there is nothing much to do in Phu Quoc Island, it is recommend to pay the Night Market a visit. We visited the Night Market twice during our stay in Phu Quoc and it is always buzzling. The market itself is not that big, but it has everything a market needs. We got a handbag that is made of coconut shells and a green bracelet. We also got loads of snacks and souvenirs from the local supermarket 🛒 As for food, I would highly recommend trying the green coconut pudding (for 10,000 dong = ~3 HKD) and the coconut icecream from Kim Ngân kem dừa nhà làm (for 50,000 dong = ~17 HKD). #境外遊 #nightmarket #vietnam #island

The market is situated in the centre of the most populated area of the island, and offers a array of options to both locals and tourists alike. Vendors sell all sorts from wallets, pearls, clothes, fruit, and the most impressive, street food. There is a lot to choose from, mainly vietnamese local food. After sampling, the food was generally delicious and was extremely cheap. The market is well-lit and is nice and breezy, but it is really quite big and chaotic, one could easily get lost. If you want to have a special dinner with your loved one in Phu Quoc, you can visit here. It hasn’t been long since it opened so there aren’t many people yet. It is located very close to the Yangdong town night market. And it has three floors, the third floor is a rooftop. The third floor is facing the west coast, so you can see beautiful sunsets around 6 o'clock. I visited late at night and I couldn't see the sunset, but the design and interior there were very Instagramable and pretty, so I really enjoyed it. #phuquoc

There are many seafood restaurants in Fu Guo Night Market, a bit like Sai Kung, Hong Kong. Each fish tank keeps fresh seafood. If you need to, you can ask the price. The shopkeeper will write on the memo paper how much a kilogram is 🦞 Lobster is about 500 HKD a kilogram . We ordered oysters🦪 for $10 each. It may not be too attractive when it looks gray and black when served, but it is actually fresh and has no fishy smell, and I don’t have a stomach ache after eating it. Also ordered grilled oysters 🦪 can be cheese or garlic, here seems not interested in raw garlic 🧄 cooking everything is put fried garlic. Had dinner (Hu Tiu Muc) at a restaurant nearby the night market. The market is a long stretch selling seafood, sweet snack and souvenirs. I recommend trying the sweet floss with coconut snack (you can add the sauce you want). There are also a lot of dessert/drink from sea coconut if you are adventurous enough. For seafood, they have a wide variety of snails, sea urchins, scallops for you to pick. The shop owner will grill for you on the spot. Unfortunately, the seafood was not that fresh at the stall that we tried. Be careful of your belongings as it’s very crowded after 7pm when locals and tourists alike rush here.
