My 1st trip to Hanoi and recommended by my local friend a must try best pho in Hanoi. Simple just ordered from the menu and less than 5 mins it's served. Lime and slice chilli with fish soup and chili paste and a must have is the pickled garlic to really boost the taste of the Pho. Been having this 3 days straight for my Lunch while I am in Hanoi and really love it so much. 😍

1. When I was in Vietnam, I ate pho for almost every meal. Every restaurant was delicious. I also drank sugarcane juice every day. It was NT$12 a glass, amazing! 2. Hanoi is more of a cultural city with lots of small alleys. The Old Quarter, Train Street, and the night view of Hoan Kiem Lake are all worth a visit. I originally thought the water puppets were scary, but it was actually quite good. Even with the language barrier, I still understood the plot and it was quite funny. The AC was also very strong, which was amazing. 3. The egg coffee was quite sweet, but it was espresso underneath. I couldn't sleep after it. 🤣 4. Overall, Vietnam is quite affordable, but housing prices are quite high, probably around New Taipei City prices. However, there are no lodgings, so it's still quite comfortable. I think it's perfect for retirement. 😁
