Phewa Lake in Pokhara city
#2023travelwish
Phewa Lake is the lake in Pokhara city, Nepal.
Tal Barahi Temple or lake temple is the Hindu temple on a small island in Phewa lake. The only way to go to this temple is boat, return trip per person is 100 Rps.
Firstly we have to grab a life jacket and que for a join boat. It takes around 10 minutes direct to the temple (private boat is available if you want more lake exploring time).
Come and see sunset or sunrise here is recommended.
Next year, hopefully INCA trail will be my next destination.

Went to pokhara for a 6 days and 5 nights trip. The views and scenary that you can observe in Pokhara is just breathtaking.
We stayed at Busy Bee Resort during our trip and the service they provided, the facilities and anemities etc was excellent. The resort also helped us book for paragliding, which i found very helpful as i didnt have much idea on where to book for such activities. They also provide booking services for activities such as bungee , trekking etc.
During our stay in pokhara, we had the chance to stay in lakeside where the view was amazing and so was the nightlife, the streets were awake all night , most restaurants and cafes were open till late night, it surely helped us with our late night cravings😅.
We also had the chances to go to the world peace pagoda, davis fall and many more attractions in pokhara. And the food is reallly good in pokhara😍. Definitely recommend everyone to visit 🤩🤩#staycation #staycations

There is a street restaurant and travel agency near Fewa Lake. I can find a restaurant where I can see the lake. From the restaurant, the Fewa Lake in the sun is not beautiful. After I order it, I cheered and ran over. I didnt take my meal at heart. After eating, you will start to wander in Fewa Lake. The folk customs here are more simple, but the rest is simple...
Walk by the Fewa Lake, everyone will say hello and smile, every male you meet. , will directly tell me "Hello you! Where are you from?". This kind of squatting has also been encountered in Kathmandu, but one kilometer along the lake in Fewa Lake, the intensive market is amazing.
Happy walking along the Fewa Lake, you will meet happy fishing kids, happy playing guitar brother, happy little couple, happy chat, happy dog, happy sales uncle, Happy old man, happy student who has studied in China and volunteered to be a tour guide, happily riding a bicycle and following our young boy, feeling as clear as the charming Fewa Lake.

Zero Gallery: A Hidden Gem of Korean Cuisine by Fewa Lake
Pokhara, Nepal's largest tourist city, boasts a variety of international restaurants in the Fewa Lake area, a popular spot for visitors. Among them, we highly recommend Zero Gallery, a Korean restaurant run by a Korean couple who fell in love with Pokhara over a decade ago and decided to settle here. As a result, the restaurant offers authentic Korean flavors.
The restaurant is ideally located by Fewa Lake, offering stunning lake views. Diners can choose to sit indoors or outdoors, enjoying the elegant ambiance. The prices are also quite reasonable. We particularly recommend their Pork Stone Pot Rice Set, which is both generous in portion and delicious. Side dishes like kimchi can be refilled for free. Their grilled pork belly set is also worth trying. If you're in Pokhara and love Korean food, this place is a must-visit.

Phewa Lake, the 'Eastern Switzerland': Embrace the Stunning Lake and Mountain Scenery
Phewa Lake is located in Pokhara, the second largest city in Nepal.
'Rowing on Phewa Lake, let your soul float free' is what the locals told me. Phewa Lake is the soul, blood, and synonym of Pokhara, often praised as the 'Eastern Switzerland.' It used to be the holiday destination for the Nepalese royal family. Rowing on the azure waters of Phewa Lake, where snow peaks and lake reflections blend together, whether in the morning mist or the evening sunset, the serene scenery can calm a restless heart.

Into the Land of Gods—Nepal (3): Phewa Lake
Phewa Lake is the second largest lake in Nepal, covering an area of about 6 square kilometers. It is like an emerald embedded in Pokhara, adding to the beauty of the scenery here.
Whether it's the early morning when the sun rises or the evening with the afterglow of the sunset, strolling along the shores of Phewa Lake, enjoying the lake and mountain scenery, breathing the fresh air, and feeling the gentle breeze, makes one feel relaxed and forget all worries.
Boating on Phewa Lake should be a must-do for every tourist and is a perennial tourist attraction.
Boats are docked at the pier, ready to set off, and boatmen are constantly calling out for business, attracting many interested tourists. The lake surface ripples with waves; the green mountains on both sides are lush and densely vegetated.
In the center of Phewa Lake, there is a small island with the Barahi Temple.
Many visitors to Phewa Lake will take a trip to the island to experience the religious atmosphere of the temple. Barahi Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess of power. She is the protector of women, so most of the worshippers in the temple are women.
The lake reflects the snow-white Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) Peak, and at any time, from any angle, one can feel the tranquility of Phewa Lake.
The early morning and evening are the most beautiful times at Phewa Lake. The sunset on Annapurna Peak casts a golden glow on the shimmering lake surface, making it feel like living in a fairy tale world.
Small boats sail across the lake, and paragliders soar in the sky above Phewa Lake, adding vitality to the tranquil lake surface.

Nepal—The ultra-healing Pokhara
Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal, surrounded by mountains on all sides, with Phewa Lake at its center. It is a royal Nepalese resort, akin to a paradise on earth. Boating on the lake, one can enjoy the crystal-clear waters, which are over 200 meters deep and have a comfortable temperature, teeming with various fish species; there is a Wealth God Temple on the island in the middle of the lake, which is always bustling with worshippers. It seems that the Nepalese also believe in the Wealth God; the shores of Phewa Lake are perfect for strolling, with young men and women dressed in ethnic attire celebrating their festivals.
Pokhara is the best place to watch the sunrise, offering a view of the Himalayan range. One must wake up early to reach the photography spot; it is recommended to spend 100 rupees for the best photography spot, which includes a complimentary paper cup of ginger tea. The morning sun and snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas are ultra-healing and stunningly beautiful, like a dream.
Location: Pokhara, Nepal

Awesome calm and serene lake.
Embarking on my journey to Phewa Lake in Pokhara was like stepping into a serene oasis. As I arrived at the southern part of Pokhara, the tranquil waters stretched out before me, inviting me to explore its depths. Boating across the lake, I was mesmerized by the breathtaking views of nature that surrounded me.
The majestic Mount Machhapuchhre and the towering peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges cast their reflections upon the shimmering surface of the lake, creating a scene of unparalleled beauty. Amidst this picturesque setting lies the sacred Talbarahi Temple, adding a touch of spirituality to the experience. Phewa Lake truly captivated my senses, leaving me with memories that will last a lifetime.

Fewa Lake is a famous royal resort in Nepal. The majestic Annapurna peak forms the natural background of Fewa Lake. The charming lakes and mountains attract a large number of people every year. Tourists are coming.
At any time, Fewa Lake has its own style. At the dusk, Fewa Lake is especially popular among photographers. The birds returning in the evening dance in the changing light and shadow. Rent a colorful sailing boat on the lake and quietly enjoy the lake and mountains that are reflected in the water. It is the favorite project of bee bees.
2 boats on the lake, control the distance and safety, free to shoot large films on the lake, is also a travel story worth remembering.
Steven..
When traveling to Nepal, many people choose to walk, so they must go to Pokhara and go to the beautiful Fewa Lake.
To tell the truth, the scenery of Fewa Lake is not beautiful, even ordinary, but many times it is special because of human factors, you can see the original appearance of the people living there, A kind of leisure and coziness of life, so people are lingering.
A night of heavy rain, of course, I said that there is no feeling at all, sleep is too heavy, but wake up is a bit early, I think it should be because of excitement, I am going to walk ABC. Did not alarm other friends, a person came to Fewa Lake with a camera.
Despite the dawn, the boatmen at Fewa Lake have begun to get busy and start their day's livelihood. And visitors, even if they have already got up and come to Fewa Lake, I think it is still sleepy.
distant, an Arro woman walked by the river and suddenly came to the inspiration. In the early morning, Fewa Lake was like a girl who was still asleep, quiet and comfortable, and the green lake sprang a little under the drizzle. Hey, there are three or two red or yellow cruise ships in the distance. The green lake is dotted with dreams. The colorful wooden boat sleeping on the pier is like a painting, which is full of thoughts.
If time permits, be sure to rent a boat and raft on Fewa Lake, feeling the beautiful lake light. If the weather is fine, the lake will also reflect the beautiful reflection of the snow-capped mountains.
Hero_V5.
Fewa Lake is a royal resort in Nepal, and the South Bank is the palace of the King of Nepal. It is the second largest lake in Nepal with an area of about 6 square kilometers. It is the most fascinating tourist destination in Pokhara. Tickets; no tickets required to charter a boat about 300 rupees per hour (with a boatman about 350 rupees / hour). Take the boat to the opposite side of the lake and walk up the hill to see the Peace Tower. Its worth it to climb up. The scenery of Fewa Lake and the mountains is beautiful! It is very quiet and there is a beautiful garden near the tower. You can sit here and enjoy the panoramic view of the entire Boca city.

When I arrived in Pokhara, I didnt take the time to take a good look at Fewa Lake. Thats all white.
In the days of Pokhara, Fewa Lake is the place to go every day, basically except for the early morning of Fewa Lake (because it is too lazy to get up early), which has been seen in other time periods.
Feiwa Lake at noon, the sky blue and grass green matching boat floats quietly on the lake, and the white clouds on the blue sky reflect the clear and peaceful Fewa Lake. The strong ultraviolet rays make people unable to open their eyes, but they are reluctant to leave this colorful lake. The colorful colors are like the fairy tale version.
When the sun sets, the sunset will dye the clouds of the sky into golden eyes, and slowly will add some blush. As time passed, the golden color gradually receded, and the blush was also from pink to purple, and then to the unfathomable dark red, knowing that the light of the horizon was engulfed by the night sky. The young middle school students talked to the three groups of five groups at the lake. The handsome black and white school uniforms couldnt help but recall the time that belonged to us.
Of course, it is a great pity to not be able to take a paraglider overlooking this beautiful Fewa Lake in the sky, but there will be opportunities to make up for it later.
