Pha Sadet... A historical cliff of the Saraburi railway 🌿
"Pha Sadet Phak" or commonly known as "Pha Sadet"
It is an important historical site on the Northeastern Railway Line, where King Chulalongkorn and Queen Savang Vadhana (Queen Saovabha Phongsri) visited this sub-district when the Bangkok - Nakhon Ratchasima railway line was built.
#Pha Sadet Phak is located between Map Kabao Station and Pha Sadet Station on the Northeastern Line, in the Dong Phaya Yen mountain range. It has a historical story as follows:
"On December 22, 1896 (R.S. 115), His Majesty traveled with Queen Saovabha Phongsri along the Pa Sak River and came ashore. He continued by train from his residence into the forest until he reached the end of the railway at that time (Hin Lap Sub-district) at around 3 p.m. He got off the train and continued on the path that had not yet been laid across two streams. Then he arrived at the large stone at this cliff at 5 pm. He ordered the inscription of his royal initials “J.P.R.” meaning his royal initials, “S.P.” meaning the name of Queen Saovabha Phongsri, and the number “115” meaning the year he came. He also named this stone “Pha Sadet Phak” and placed it on the cliff.
