Traveling south in the summer, visiting Narathiwat with Phan Nab Dao
Today, we are still in Sukhirin District. This district has a beautiful sea of fog that is no less than anywhere else. It is suitable for relaxing, hiking, camping and watching the beautiful sea of fog in the morning. On the mountain, when going up, it is a bit rocky and difficult. You have to walk up about 500 meters, but there will be a local car to pick you up. It is recommended to contact a local guide before coming here. When you arrive at your destination, you will definitely get a million-dollar view.
.
Location: Phan Nab Dao is located in Sukhirin Subdistrict, Sukhirin District, Narathiwat Province. The locals here call it Khunung Batu Puteh, which means white rock.

Wat Phra That Phu Khao Thong, a viewpoint for the southern sea of mist
"Wat Phra That Phu Khao Thong" is a place of spiritual support for Thai Buddhists in Sukirin District, Narathiwat Province. It is built amidst nature and lush mountains.
In the morning or evening, you can often see mist flowing through the mountains, creating a beautiful backdrop.
The area of Phra That Phu Khao Thong is also a beautiful viewpoint for the sea of mist, where tourists often come to watch the sea of mist in the morning. The air is really fresh and cool.

Take the train to Narathiwat for 2 days and 1 night without a car.

#UnseenNarathiwat
This trip happened when we wanted to unlock our fear of carrying a backpack and taking a train alone for more than 22 hours to Su-ngai Kolok, the southernmost part of Thailand, to visit Sukirin District, Narathiwat Province, a place hidden under the unrest in our imagination that we never thought would be like this in reality in the 3 border provinces.
We stayed at Wang Hin Ngam Resort, Sukirin District, picked us up at the train station, took us to eat noodles and papaya salad at Yai Pho's restaurant. From the room, it was just a few steps to the stream. Staying here, we got to do all the activities, including rafting, jumping in the water, tubing, and sitting around the stream. We were extremely lucky that while rafting, we saw an uncle panning for gold. We couldn't believe that it was real. We thought it was just a story. 5555
Woke up early and took a motorbike for less than 5 minutes. Walked a few dozen steps to see the magnificent sea of fog in the southern region. It felt like we were in the north at Phu Chan Pha, "Sukirin", Narathiwat Province. Therefore, it was another trip that we were impressed with.
If I have a chance, I will definitely visit again!!!

Count the stars in the evening, watch the fog in the morning, count the stars at Pha Khao Sukirin.
Phan Nab Dao, Sukhirin District, Narathiwat Province. In order to see this view, you have to wake up early, but you also have to sit in a car and walk up a mountain for 800 meters. We think it's not that difficult. Anyone can come up here. Seeing the view will make you less tired, trust us. Or if anyone wants to fully enjoy the happiness, you can set up a tent to sleep here. You can camp here. You can sleep under the stars for sure.
Most importantly, whether you come to stay overnight or come in the morning and see the view and leave, don't forget to help pick up trash and keep it clean. We come to travel and receive happiness from nature to the fullest. We shouldn't leave anything to be a burden to nature. Then we will have beautiful views and cool places to visit again.

Sukhirin District, Narathiwat Province
Sukhirin District is very natural. Nearby tourist spots include the southernmost point of Thailand, which is easily accessible by car on a paved road. You'll pass a Thai military base before reaching the marker. Once there, you can see the tower on the Malaysian side with stationed soldiers, and taking photos is allowed.
After that, head to the Mysterious Hill where cars roll uphill on their own. Narathiwat has one too!
Nearby, you can also visit the giant Kapong tree, which is truly massive. It's the largest tree I've ever seen. However, the entrance is quite secluded and walking alone can be scary. On the way back, I ran out quickly.

When you come to Sukirin, a place you can't miss is the Fern Field, Halabala, Narathiwat Province, an unseen paradise with green rapids in the hidden land of the southern Amazon. It is a medium-sized pond suitable for rafting. The surrounding view is of mountains, beautiful nature. If you come from To Mo Village, it is less than 10 kilometers away, and there is a road to get there, very convenient.
