The picture archaeological site is massive and although many of the main sites are quite easily accessible to see some of the other other sites and to get great views over the park we need to to hike up to one of the viewpoints. There are three or four different viewpoints you could choose from so do some research before you go and choose which one you think is best for you. Visiting Petra was incredible—trying to imagine what it was like ages ago was fascinating. Every building and rock seemed to carry its own story. Hours of walking and climbing didn’t feel tiring at all because we were so captivated.
