#Philippines Pescador Island is an island located on the western coast of the island of Cebu in the Philippines and is part of the municipality of Moalboal. Unlike my other snorkelling trips, snorkelling near Psecador Island was really fantastic and fun. It was an eye-opening trip where we swam near the pool of sardines and fishes and followed the big turtle it was really fun and highly recommended!

One of the best reef diving locations in the Visayas is Moalboal, Philippines, and one of the most stunning dive sites is Pescador Island. The reefs on the tiny island gently slope downwards, with soft coral covering the first 5 to 10 meters offshore before abruptly dropping to 40 meters offshore, forming a hard reef wall. The reefs of Pescador Island are home to hundreds, if not thousands, of different fish species. When we say there’s a lot to explore around the Cebu province, we seriously mean, a lot. Even most Cebu residents have not roamed around the province yet — but that’s what makes it even more exciting. We always have something to look forward to every time we are free for a getaway with our family and friends, without the need to fly out from the city. And there’s this one place in Cebu where you can make the most out of your one-day trip. It takes about 3.5 hours by car from the city of Cebu to Moalboal. There is public transportation, or you can choose to charter. Our choice is to report in the city of Cebu. The coral layer of Pescador Island is very shallow and shallow, generally about 2 to 3 meters deep, and many corals and even snorkeling can be encountered.
