📍Pentos & Basil Ciao, everyone! I am inviting all the pasta lovers to come give this amazing restaurant a try for their spaghettis! They have a wide range of pasta dishes to choose from and there is also a vegan option! A fine dining vibe for a couple dating spot too 🥂 🍽️ feedback: We tried their carbonara and it was out of the world, creamy, cheesy and tender enough to chew. Want to go more French? Go ahead for their risotto and gnocchi! We also tried gnocchi Gorgonzola cream, it’s super creamy and yummy!! Truffle bread is one of their signatures too, soft and fluffy! Located in Bukit Jalil, best way to the restaurant is to park at pavilion mall and it’s just 5min walking distance. Finally got to try this insta-famous Italian restaurant in Aurora place, Bukit Jalil. Reviewers often commented that it serve big portion Italian food in affordable price, although some also mentioned food was a little bit too salty. We ordered the signature sea prawn as appetizer, Vongole pasta and Squid Ink Risotto as mains. Roughly each dish costed about RM35. We visited during weekday, so the lunch set promo comprised of complimentary mushroom soup with every order of main, with add on of RM7 for Coffee/ Tea, or add on of RM 8 for juices. Sea prawn looks a tad smaller in size than the usual one we had for Tapas. No doubt they are very flavourful. Love the fried garlic chips with a sprinkle of chili’s bits. Mushroom soup was ordinary, not too creamy. Portion of clams is huge, compared to the pasta. Valet parking is available right in front of the restaurant, cost of RM10 for first 2 hours. Otherwise you can opt to park at the basement. Table is quite small for 2 pax. Fortunately food was served quickly. Address - Pento's & Basil, located in Aurora Place, Bukit Jalil. You can park your car in aurora place mall carpark as outside pento's will only have valet parking. Ambiance/Facilities - The design is very comfy, a little dim inside. The staffs are friendly and gives good services. It's recommended if you would like to have a reunion dinner with your friends or family. Highlights - The food are very unique and tasty, I personally liked the gnocchi (4th pic) a lot, it's potato dumpling with parmesan cheese. The other food are all delicious and nice. Avg. Price per Person - RM30-50, we went in 6 person and ordered 5 dishes to share, it costs us each RM27. Rating - 7.5/10 Note: You have to book few days in advanced as it's always full of people.
