A super chill 3-day tour of Canggu, the trendy town in Bali
🇮🇩 In Bali, apart from the popular areas that have been overrun by tourists: Kuta, Ubud, Seminyak... I prefer a little town called Canggu.
🌈 Located on the south coast of Bali, 10 kilometers north of Kuta and just 8 kilometers away from the crowded Tanah Lot Temple. It boasts beautiful rural scenery yet still retains a rare sense of leisure and tranquility!
🌈 Elements that belong to Canggu: farmland, low houses, graffiti walls, skateboards, motorcycles, rock music, digital nomads, vegetarian restaurants, organic markets, design shops, a paradise for hippies. Trendy yet relaxed, lazy yet free, fashionable yet simple, artistic yet diverse.
🌈 Here, you might not find any particular tourist spot, but everywhere is great for taking photos and strolling around, with its own unique vibe. I even stayed for several days without seeing another Chinese person, with various exquisite shops dotted along the secret pathways leading to the beach. Surrounded by tall plants are chic pool villas one after another. In the evening, sip a cocktail at a beach club facing the sea and enjoy a perfect day.
In these details, I read another side of Bali, as if summer should bloom so freely!

🔺La Brisa: A natural and original bar, said to be built with reclaimed wood from over 500 old fishing boats, with beautiful tree houses and plenty of lounge sofas, just wait for the sunset over the sea here!
🔺Finns: Highly recommended, with a super high atmosphere, from dancing in the club to playing in the pool, lots of handsome guys and beautiful girls.
➎ Stay at a trendy homestay
There are many trendy homestays in this area. I booked the Hasegawa Hotel, and I came to Canggu specifically for this homestay. 500+/night, great location, right on the main street, within walking distance to the beach and beach bars.
➏ Learn to surf from scratch
In Hasegawa, surfing is the start of the day. Echo Beach, Berawa Beach, and the famous Batu Balong Beach are the three best surfing beaches in Hasegawa. Perfect waves and a comfortable environment make it a paradise for surfers around the world. Suitable for beginners and also for pros to show off their skills.
