Penang Airport is the only airport in Penang and it has a wide range of flying routes. There are many airlines coming here and there is also many food options at this small airport. I can get Mcdonalds fast food and famous local nasi kandar here. This nasi kandar is from Gerogetown area and it always has a long queue. So now I am able to eat it just before I board my plane. This is really so much easier, and I can also pre-pack some food too.

#malaysia We were looking for a place to sit and work while we wait for our gates to open - lo and behold, we found Sweet Hug! Located in between the public entrance of Internation Departure and Domestic Departure, the cafe is newly opened and serves a wide variety of asian Tong Sui and sandwiches! The interior was lovely in pastel, and there was even a corner of the cafe which was decorated in blue and with skies as the lamp! Felt like we were in a child's room, it was fun! We each ordered a sandwich, and it comes with a small side of yogurt. While it was delicious, the bread was a tad bit chewy... Rating (out of 5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There is a popular bakery Ban Heang just before you enter the departure hall. You can get pre-packaged mung bean pasties, during pancakes and even freshly bake pork buns too. Then after entering the departure hall, you can still buy other brands and they have a huge selection too. I like to buy my souvenirs here because they have all the different brands at their store. This saves my time from going to different stores to buy my souvenirs. Happy Shopping!
