If you visit Penang, dont forget to visit Penang Bird Park. There a lots of bird we can see there. View is calm and beautiful. Price is reasonable & kids will love and excited looking at colourfull bird inside cage. We spend around 2 hours there. Definitely worth every penny!!

Getting There - I was on a road trip from Kota Bharu to Penang. We stayed in Georgetown. Spent 3 days in the island and before went back home, we visited this Bird Park in Seberang Jaya and greeted those birds for 1-2 hours. The park is not that big, however there are numerous bird species that you could see here. My kid was so thrilled that we had the opportunity to feed the pigeons. #travellerswonderland It was a magnificent sight to even look at the species that was available here. As a nature lover it was a sanctuary. The place is very well mantained and the staffs are fairly friendly. Not single litter was visible in the vicinity. They were many species that's hard to see but I. Here it's well mended. Nice place to bring kids and nature lovers. Few reminders: 1. Be sure to bring water, shades and cap/hat to protect yourself on sunny day 2. Bring mosquito repellents along since it's a as close to real habitat of the birds. 3. Certain bird habitat tends to have stench or foul smell, be mindful. 4. It's wheel chair accessible but not recommended for people who can't walk long distances. 5. Lastly, be mindful to follow the cleanliness signs displayed. And do not litter and make noises!
