Historic buildings
The former site of the Guangzhou Peasant Movement Training Institute was originally the Panyu Academy, now also referred to as the Nongjiang Institute. It was built in 1370. In the former site of the Nongjiang Institute, the director's office, the academic affairs department, the military training department, the classrooms, the student dormitories, etc. are arranged in their original appearance, and there is an exhibition of "Restored Exhibition of the Former Site of the Nongjiang Institute", which realistically displays the history of the first to sixth Nongjiang Institutes. At the same time, in line with the party's line, principles, and policies, special exhibitions with patriotic and revolutionary traditional educational significance are held every year. The Minglun Hall and Guangji Hall of the Panyu Academy East Road buildings have also been restored, and the statue of Confucius, the model of the Guangdong Gongyuan, and the restored rooms for the imperial examinations are displayed. There are also exhibitions such as "Confucius and Confucianism" and "Chinese Imperial Examination Culture".
