Guangzhou Night Charm: From Historical River to Riverside Splendor
Day 1:
As the sun rises, I step into Yuexiu Park, a witness to Guangzhou's history. The park is filled with towering ancient trees and lush green grass, with the Five Rams Statue standing quietly on the lawn, symbolizing Guangzhou. I stroll along the park's paths, feeling the weight of history and the accumulation of time. Next, I head to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a gem of Guangzhou's architecture. The hall's exquisite construction, with its intricate carvings and paintings, showcases the superb craftsmanship of the artisans. I pause to admire the beautiful wood carvings, stone carvings, and plaster sculptures, as if I can hear history gently echoing here.
Day 2:
In the evening, I arrive at the Zhongda Wharf by the Pearl River, ready to embark on a night cruise. As night falls and the lights come on, the lights on both sides of the Pearl River are dazzling, and the Canton Tower stands like a giant lighthouse, illuminating the entire night sky. I board the cruise ship, and as it moves slowly, the scenery on both sides unfolds like a painting. Starting from Zhongda Wharf, passing through Haixinsha, and then to the Canton Tower, each attraction is beautifully adorned with lights. I stand at the bow, feeling the gentle breeze of the river and enjoying the night view of the city, allowing my soul to relax in the historical river and riverside splendor.
