Visited the stunning 🤩 Ruyi Park in Yangshuo, China! 📍This park is about 15km from the city center. 🤑Entrance fee is 260 Yuan per person, which includes the round-trip cable car ride. 🚠 ⏳The cable car trip up the mountain takes around 15 minutes each way, and you'll want to plan 1.5-2 hours to explore the whole park. It's set up as a circular walking circuit that starts with a long wooden bridge. The highlight is reaching the massive round platform at the top, which offers 360-degree panoramic views of the breathtaking karst mountains surrounding Yangshuo. After taking in the views from the platform, you'll walk across the park's famous red suspension glass bridge before ending by crossing a glass plank walkway back to the cable car station. Catching the sunset from up here is an absolute must-see - the golden light illuminating the dramatic landscape is simply magical. I can't recommend visiting Ruyi Park enough if you're in the Yangshuo area. When travelling to Yangshuo I highly recommend visiting Ruyi Peak. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride up to where you reach the cross suspension bridge. Once you've crossed the bridge there are stairs which take you up to the peak point where you can get a stunning view of the mountains. You can then make your way down to the glass walkway bridge to take some photos sitting on the bridge. The hike will take you about 2-3hrs total. It was a beautiful day but extremely hot! Ruyi Peak is a must-visit for those wishing to conquer their fear of heights. Towering above Yangshuo, overlooking the shadows of hundreds of mountain peaks in the distance. The cable car is a short ride to the top with magnificent views of the landscape and agriculture of the town. A long rope bridge takes you to the next peak and many, many stairs to climb to a large circular platform from which you can enjoy 360 degree views, as far as the eyes can see. This scenic spot also offers a glass bridge and a glass platform that wraps around the mountain like a necklace (¥5 for shoe covers. keep your receipt to use for both areas). The whole trip should take between and 1-2 hours at a leisurely pace if it’s not busy. You do not need a guide. Ruyi Peak ⛰️

Yangshuo is a very popular tourist destination with many different attractions. Out of all these attractions, Ruyi Peak was definitely one of our favourites. You will need to take a cable car 🚠 up (this is an experience in itself) then you cross a suspension bridge to get to the highest observation deck. On your way back to the cable car, you can take a different path which will take you along a glass walkway. Time needed: 1-2 hours Cost: 260rmb at the ticket office, however, you can get tickets for 240rmb on meituan. We visited in summer and it wasn't very busy, however, this was probably because it was so HOT! #yangshuo #scenicspot #summer

Peak Ruyi Scenic spot

I was in awe with the beauty out there! This was a mini ,if not full on hike. We took a cable car 🚠 up the mountain to the walking trail,which took us about 3 hours to walk about. First went through a bridge,all the way up to the highest point of the mountain, down to two glass bridges (had a refreshing stop) and the final bit of walking back to the cable car!! It was good exercise and an exciting experience to see all that’s around us. We started early in the morning,to counter the hot weather and this kind of makes it a bit better! We got the tickets along west street,there was a tourism booth and we got the tickets from there. The ticket included a hotel pick up and we were charged 500 yuan for three people! You might want to bring your hat and water bottle for the hike. Though there are stops along the way with some refreshments. #summervacation#hikingtrails

One side is transparent glass, and the other side is steel support, making it safe even for those afraid of heights. The glass walkway is built on the mountain wall, making it a thrilling challenge for the brave. 💡 Travel Tips: Choose to visit Ruyi Peak in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Considering physical strength and age, children over 4 years old are more suitable to participate. Bring enough water, as climbing can make you thirsty. Wear sun-protective clothing and a hat, and avoid carrying cumbersome umbrellas. There is a paid photo service in the scenic area, but the natural scenery on the mountain is already beautiful enough, and taking your own photos is enough to leave good memories.

Ruyi Peak Family Trip

A family trip with the elderly and children, the first rule is that it must not be tiring. After looking through a round of guides, we finally locked in on the only mountain climbing destination in Yangshuo—Ruyi Peak . First of all, the name Ruyi Peak is auspicious, which the elderly like. Then, Ruyi Peak is very well developed, with a simple and flexible route. For people like us, we just take the cable car → suspension bridge → glass bridge → glass walkway → cable car, walking, stopping, and taking photos along the way, the whole journey takes only about 2 hours. Finally, the attractions are unique, and the beautiful scenery is the foundation. Then the cable car, suspension bridge, glass bridge/walkway, each has its own gimmick, making for great photos without scaring the elderly or children, so everyone can have fun and feel at ease . The only pity was that there was no sun that day, so we couldn't enjoy the sunset scenery . Of course, the convenience of travel here is also a very important factor. It takes 15 minutes by taxi from the hotel, and 25 minutes by taxi to West Street from here. The travel time is not long, and it's suitable to rest in the car and save energy for the next trip . However, the ticket price here is not cheap, costing ¥230/person. I heard that if you can find a local to buy tickets, the cost-performance ratio will be much higher .

After entering, it's the cable car - Necklace Peak - Ruyi Bridge - Ruyi Cloud Summit - Glass Skywalk - and finally the cable car back to the exit. 🌈 Two hours, including time for photos, is enough, so it won't take too long, and you'll have enough energy to continue to the next stop! 📒 Life advice, take a cable car ride in Yangshuo 🚡 Climbed halfway up and rashly boasted that I could climb two more like this, then on the way back my legs wouldn't obey me anymore 😂 I thought it would be very cold up the mountain, so I prepared a down jacket, but unexpectedly I was sweating profusely. During the climb, I felt as if I had entered a fairyland, with clouds and mist swirling around, as if I were in heaven. 🍃 In the rainy weather, taking the cable car 🚡 slowly ascending, looking through the clouds, and gazing at the surrounding peaks, it was like entering a fairy tale world. 🎗️ The Ruyi Rope Bridge is a must-visit when climbing Ruyi Peak. Standing on the bridge, gently swaying, it feels like being in the clouds, with the heart drifting. I deeply felt the grandeur and mystery of nature. The rope bridge is like a red ribbon, weaving through the green mountains, a sight too beautiful to describe. 🌈 Standing on the Ruyi Cloud Summit, overlooking the landscape of Yangshuo, I saw a vast sea of clouds, with green mountains and waters appearing and disappearing in the mist, feeling my soul purified, and all troubles vanished like smoke. 🌿 The forest trail is a fun-filled path. Walking in the rain, merging with nature, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery, casually taking photos with a high-end atmosphere. 🌁 The glass skywalk is a thrilling experience. Walking on it is like walking on clouds, as if being in the clouds. Looking down through the glass, the mountains are all in sight, everything seems so small. 📽️ The digital experience hall is not to be missed either! Here you can sing and experience the Guilin Metaverse digital experience hall, watching the landscape and listening to folk songs, as if entering a magical space. 🌟 In summary, climbing to the top of Ruyi Peak on a rainy day is a very special experience. Ruyi Peak has a total of 6 major attractions 1⃣: Cableway It took about 10 minutes on the cable car, crossing a height difference of several hundred meters, where you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of Ruyi Peak from high above. 2⃣: Ruyi Suspension Bridge Very distinctive, with the bridge sides filled with everyone's blessings for their loved ones and hopes for the future. 3⃣: Ruyi Cloud Summit This should be the highest point of Ruyi Peak, and if you bring a drone, you will definitely get some great shots. 4⃣: Forest Walkway Feels particularly suitable for shooting distant views. 5⃣: Glass Skywalk It takes some courage to walk on, and the scenic area offers free photography. 6⃣️: Digital Experience Hall Gives you an immersive Guilin journey. Everyone must follow the route of 2⃣️3⃣️4⃣️5⃣️‼️ This route is to climb a short distance up the mountain after getting off the cableway, and after passing the Ruyi Cloud Summit, most of the way down is downhill, making the whole trip much easier. If you go in the opposite direction, you will experience repeated climbing and walk much more unnecessary distance, which is a bloody lesson learned from not listening to the advice of the scenic area staff.

If you arrive at night, you can go directly to Yangshuo County and catch the 19:30 Guilin Impression Sanjie Liu show (scalper price 160 yuan/person). ✔️Yulong River Bamboo Raft: Recommend Jinlong Bridge to Jiu Xian, the section I took at Shui E Bottom was not very beautiful, just a small stretch of bamboo forest, tip 66 yuan, boat ticket 200 (grab tickets on the mobile phone at 20:00 the night before, if you can't get them you can buy them on-site). ✔️After getting off at Jiu Xian, you can rent an electric bike that can be returned in the city for 30/bike, navigate and ride from Jiu Xian to the Comprehensive Wharf section, passing through paddy field scenery and trails. ✔️The Comprehensive Wharf section is the middle part of the Ten-Mile Gallery, turn right and ride to Li Village to enter, check in at Moon Hill on the lawn. Then you can go forward to Ruyi Peak, and further on is Silver Cave. Turn back and keep going to reach the county city area. ✔️Xianggong Mountain, joined a hotel group of 4 people, 80/person including round-trip transfer and ticket 60, besides checking in Xianggong Mountain, also took us to a place specially for watching the sunset, Xianggong Mountain is the most beautiful spot in Yangshuo. —————————— Food Section: Liao Ge's Crucian Carp (affordable and tasty) Duck Feet Pot (recommended, good taste, sour bamboo shoot fried snails are also good) Sun Head Fire Rice Noodles (tourists 18, locals 5 yuan, taste is average) ———————— Pros: The scenery is absolutely beautiful, worthy of the title of the world's top landscape.
