Peace Bridge: Is it elegant and charming, a miracle of bridge engineering? Or is it flashy and impractical?

The Peace Bridge in Calgary, also known as the Rainbow Bridge, is located on the Bow River in the northern part of Calgary, not far from Prince's Island Park.
The Peace Bridge is composed of tubular structures in the red and white colors of the Canadian flag. It spans the Bow River without any piers in the middle. The bridge deck is covered with a layer of high-strength glass, which is not only very sturdy but also blocks wind and snow. The entire bridge cost nearly 150 million RMB to build and is one of Calgary's iconic structures.
It is said that the controversy over this bridge has never stopped. Some people think it is elegant and charming, and it has been rated as a "world bridge engineering miracle" by the world-renowned architecture magazine "AZURE", worthy of being an iconic building in Calgary.
However, others believe that it cost three times as much as a typical steel structure bridge to build, and besides allowing pedestrians and bicycles to pass, cars cannot cross it. They think it is flashy and impractical, the most wasteful bridge.
I think Alberta has oil and natural gas and is the richest province in Canada. Spending this money on a popular landmark is not unreasonable. Moreover, the spiral red tubular structure makes the Peace Bridge look full of modernity, with great visual effects, and it is excellent for taking photos.

Visit the Museum of Contemporary Art to see animal protectors. The small theater exhibits environmental-themed images that allow the audience to appreciate the ecological relationship between forests and humans. Tickets are CAD 12, including the main exhibition hall, and individual artists' solo exhibitions are regularly invited, such as the Feather Bear exhibition by artist Piwi.

A sculpture stands in front of the modern building. Along the EB TD center street, the boutiques on both sides are decorated for Christmas. That night, the outdoor lights were on, and the singer was singing. Along the modern shopping center all the way west, you can also find hotels such as Sheraton.

## Go to Calgary to see the world's "most defeated bridge"
This Calgary Peace Bridge, which cost just 200 million yuan for just 126 meters, was just reviewed after it was completed in 2012. It became a "miracle of the world bridge engineering."
The reason is that there was a special requirement for building this bridge.
