[2025 Bangkok Restaurant] Travel Guide for Pe Aor Tom Yum kung noodle (Updated Apr)

It's about a 10-minute walk from the last stop of the Airport Link and Phaya Thai BTS station. The popular restaurant "Pe Aor" is located in a local alleyway with electric wires all around. 💡 (Look for the big lobster on top of the building.) They have a wide variety of menu items such as Thai omelettes and fried foods, but the must-try is the Tom Yum Kung noodles. 🍜 There are various ingredients, so you can choose what you like. This time I chose the one with shrimp, fish, and eggs. I'm not very good with spicy food, but this one was just the right amount of spicy and had a nice sour accent. It was so delicious that I drank up the soup. 😋 By the way, you can choose from about 5 types of noodles. The honey lemon juice I ordered with it was also refreshing, and it was the perfect bowl for a hot country! We took an indriver ride from Pratunam market and it was a short ride. Food was good, for the price tag. It was really cheap, considering the amount and size of the seafood given. P.O. Tom Yum Goong Noodles It's located between BTS Ratchathewi Station and BTS Phaya Thai Station. You can choose the type of noodles, and my favorite is bami (egg noodles). You can also choose thin and thick rice noodles, but I think the thin noodles are more delicious because they mix better with the soup. I like tom yum ramen and often order it at various restaurants, but the soup here is completely different! It's rich and full-bodied, and you can feel the sweetness even in the spiciness. It's so delicious that you can drink up the entire soup. The noodles are small, so if you're not satisfied, you can order a large portion.

This place I came to eat Tom Yum Kung noodles is Piaor PE AOR. I chose the ramen with squid, mussels, and fish meat. A bowl costs less than 5,000 won, but the seafood is really generous! In fact, the Tom Yum Kung ramen with lobster is the most famous signature menu! It costs 1,500 baht, but considering that it comes with a whole lobster, it seems like a very reasonable price. I've tried Tom Yum noodles many times, but personally, Piaor is my favorite! The menu is diverse, so there are many options, and the orange juice with chewy flesh is also very delicious, so I highly recommend it! This restaurant is actually most famous for its lobster Tom Yum soup which is can be shared between at least 2 people. However I opted for a more low-key fish ball Tom Yum Soup. The soup was full of flavor without the the spices overpowering the whole soup. You also get noodles in the soup, which is apparently rare in Thailand; you can even choose from different types of noodles. The restaurant is located on a low-key street with other eateries and is close to Phaya Thai BTS and airport line station. You'll then have to walk another 10 mins or so. Follow Google maps and you'll find it! Also be patient as there's usually a wait for a table althought for us it was quite quick. Finally the restaurant takes card but adds another 3% so bring cash if this bothers you. Located at Ratchathewi, a local residential area that fill with OG Bangkok vibe. This urban distinct feature lots of local cuisine. The Tom Yum Soup is well balance of spicy, sweet and sour. Like Ramen, you can finish the soup. Bonus point of the train rail that passing thru this residential area.
