we went to this Elephant sanctuary in Pattaya. It’s a little pricy around 500bhat but they will come and pick you up from your hotel. They you go to feed the elephants bananas and have lots of opportunity to take pictures. Then you head back to the main base. From there you get changed ready to get muddy! you give all the elephants a big mud bath and then join them for a swim and a scrub down. Once everything is done, you head back to eat. There is constantly coffee and tea available and also a small gift shop where all the money goes back to the sanctuary, definitely worth a visit.

You can feed them, touch them, and even take photos with them. My mother was a little timid at first, but later she smiled like a child. The elephant ate with gusto. We quietly watched them waving their ears and strolling leisurely Because we are taking a half-day trip, If you have enough time, we recommend taking a one-day tour. You can give the elephant a bath. After the feeding, the tour guide will take us to make paper Interestingly, this paper is made from elephant dung. Because elephants consume a lot of plant fiber such as pineapple, banana, pumpkin, etc. every day Therefore, their feces are mainly composed of a lot of fiber. The last staff in the park He also drew a picture for us using elephant dung eco-friendly paper. Pattaya Elephant Sanctuary. This is the best trip ever for my sister . You can play, feed, take a bath, hug, and shower elephants. Best best best trip ever.

#2024wish Heres our first trip together as a couple in Pattaya Thailand. We got to meet these gentle giants, tried local food & immerse ourselves into their culture. Here in Thailand, I learned more about elephants & how their poop can be recycled to paper. It was a memorable experience but I wouldn’t do it again. The food in Thailand came with a lot of spices compared to Hong Kong, my favourite is the raw shrimp. :) My 2024 wish is that we get to travel more together to experience life outside Hong Kong. Try different cuisines, meet different people, gain more knowledge on their cultures. Engage more on sustainability group tours to help animals & the local community.

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya A very worthwhile place to visit where the elephants are absolutely not allowed to be ridden, only take pictures with them, feed them, bathe them, and play with them! There will also be a photographer on site to help us take pictures, the photos will then send back all to us, although not that beautiful, but at least captured the most precious moment! In addition, they will also teach us, how to use the stool of elephants to make paper,  the whole process is explained how to make, and then will give you a paper made of stool to go home 😂😂 Throughout the day trip, they would drive us from the hotel to the Elephant Jungle Reserve and when it was all over they would drive us back to the hotel! During, there will be a local meal of rice that tastes quite good! It is well worth a family or animal lover to experience, a beautiful nature!
