📍Pattaya, Thailand. Elephant Jungle Conservation Area|A close journey with elephants
Traveling with Mama~
In the afternoon, the sun was shining brightly. My mother and I wore hats and rode our rented scooters.
A rural road through the suburbs of Pattaya
All the way to our most anticipated destination "Elephant Jungle Sanctuary"
This elephant protection park is particularly recommended because
1. Properly manage the amount of food fed at each stage to prevent the elephants from overeating.
2. There are no performances in the park, and the elephants in the park are all wild elephants that need to be rescued. Currently, there are no elephants that can survive independently in the wild.
3. You can clearly feel the love and kindness of the park staff towards the elephants
This is not a tourist-oriented zoo.
It is a green world that truly belongs to elephants.
No show, no ride,
There are only the elephants walking freely and the sound of nature accompanying their breathing.
After arriving, the park staff warmly received us and led us on a half-day afternoon tour:
Start by understanding the background of each elephant.
You can feed them, touch them, and even take photos with them.
My mother was a little timid at first, but later she smiled like a child.
The elephant ate with gusto.
We quietly watched them waving their ears and strolling leisurely
Because we are taking a half-day trip,
If you have enough time, we recommend taking a one-day tour.
You can give the elephant a bath.
After the feeding, the tour guide will take us to make paper
Interestingly, this paper is made from elephant dung.
Because elephants consume a lot of plant fiber such as pineapple, banana, pumpkin, etc. every day
Therefore, their feces are mainly composed of a lot of fiber.
The last staff in the park
He also drew a picture for us using elephant dung eco-friendly paper. We were really happy 😀
If you have the opportunity to travel to Pattaya, don't miss this trip.
