Getting There - train direct from Shanghai hongqiao railway station + 1 hour car ride from ningbo railway station to the hotel Hotels - park Hyatt resort & spa we took a trip to ningbo to explore the Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa is situated on the banks of Dongqian Lake – which translates to ‘lake of money in the east’, one of the most scenic destinations in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It is just 2-½ hours’ drive from Shanghai, making it the perfect weekend retreat. we tried the Seafood House restaurant for dinner. the idea is to redefine the fish market concept, allowing guests to choose their own “catch” from a series of preparation styles ranging from local Ningbo favorites to nearby Zhejiang flavors. the food was fresh and well prepared. the buffet breakfast was changed to al a carte due to low occupancy and recent covid restrictions. service was lovely & staff were attentive.

This beautiful resort has an indoor and outdoor pool and lies directly by the lake nearby Ningbo. Ningbo is just a few hours away from Shanghai and can easily accessed by train. The rooms are spacious and bring, food is good and the SPA was amazing 👏 #summervacation#urbanexplorer

December 18, 2024, I returned to my hometown of Dongqian Lake, Ningbo, to celebrate my birthday. We chose to stay at the Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa. It is a quiet, warm, and beautiful hotel by Dongqian Lake. On the first day of our stay, we booked a photo shoot at the front desk. On the 19th, we took Hanfu photos at noon on my birthday. The photographer and makeup artist were both very nice. I didn't know how to pose, but they were very patient with me, leaving me with beautiful memories and images. The hotel retains the old buildings and has made a lot of efforts to renovate the original terrain and villages, presenting a place that meets the needs of modern people while respecting the local regional characteristics and historical relics. I really like the Qianhu Fish Port Chinese Restaurant in the hotel. The food inside is unforgettable, and I am also very grateful to the waitresses. Their care for us allowed us to not only taste the food but also feel the warmth of the service. The breakfast at Park Hyatt is unique. Park Hyatt Ningbo has chosen local delicacies and combined them with the hotel's standard dishes, which moved us. Next time I come to Ningbo, I will have the opportunity to return to Qianhu and stay here again.

When the weather is fine, the light and shadow are intertwined, and the beauty is endless. The garden scenery is a good place to take photos. The breakfast is worthy of being the top luxury product of Hyatt. Although the variety is not very rich, the products are very exquisite. The creative practice of spreading beetroot sauce on the bread slices of Benedict eggs is commendable, and the sweet Benedict eggs bring a different surprise. The local specialties of scallion oil noodles and noodle knots are also very delicious, recommended to try. Room facilities: room for improvement This time, I stayed in a renovated lake view room. The high ceiling of the room made me feel comfortable, but the area was relatively small, and the partition design was not appropriate (the bathtub separated the rest area from the washing area). In terms of room supplies, only a small bottle of 30ml body lotion is provided, and it is not replenished in time when the room is cleaned the next day. The texture of slippers and bathrobes is poor, the slippers are thin, and the bathrobes are rough, which affects the wearing experience. Service quality: need to improve initiative The hotel service is lacking in initiative. Turn-down service is only available if you call the front desk. During the meal, the table was not cleaned in time during breakfast, and there were no knives and forks on the table when seated, and no spare tableware, only a pair of chopsticks wrapped in a napkin, and you need to go to the dining area to get knives and forks. Overall evaluation: suitable for specific needs Overall, Hyatt Regency Ningbo East has a unique appeal for those who pursue a lakeside vacation atmosphere and love Chinese gardens. But for those guests who have high requirements for hotel facilities and services, it may be difficult to fully meet expectations.

Steamed East China Sea Pomfret with Pickled Mustard and Tribute Pepper Sauce is very fresh; Chenpi Cicheng Rice Cake with Pork Ribs is very innovative; Jinhua Ham and Yellow Croaker Lion's Head is delicious and not greasy; Black Truffle Soup Dumplings are very high-end... . 🍵Tea House A very comfortable place to stay, mainly providing lunch, Chinese afternoon tea, and other services. Old Qian Style | Chinese Garden Resort Hotel Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa, a Chinese garden-style hotel by Dongqian Lake Although it's a bit old, it still has its charm. The Old Qian style is luxurious, grand, and elegant. The rooms are large and spacious. The lake view rooms are beautiful and pleasant. The fridge is stocked with free soft drinks and welcome fruit. Sit on the long sofa by the large glass window, drink coffee, eat some fruit, and relax. In your spare time, go swimming in the palace-style pool, work out in the well-equipped gym, or take a walk in the lakeside garden. This is a great place for a vacation, health, and relaxation. The buffet breakfast doesn't have many options, but it's exquisite and delicious. The service meets the five-star standard. If there's a problem, it can be solved quickly.

Park Hyatt Ningbo Hotel Experience | Photo Spots I came to Park Hyatt Ningbo for a business trip. To be honest, it's completely different from Park Hyatt Hangzhou. Park Hyatt Ningbo is decorated in a Southeast Asian style and the interior plants are very lush. The strong wind and sun in Ningbo make it feel like I'm in Sanya. First impression is good. Photo spot: The infinity pool is great for taking photos. If the weather is good, you can take beautiful photos from various angles. Photo spot: The corridor of the banquet hall is also great for taking photos. If you have time, you can take a walk in the garden and take photos. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time. Other places are just average. The service doesn't feel like a five-star hotel. After all, I recently stayed at Park Hyatt Siem Reap, which was ranked fourth in the "World's Top 100 Hotels". They offer a welcome drink and a cooling towel as soon as guests arrive. Breakfast was not satisfactory. There were few breakfast options and the fruit was just oranges and watermelons. They only refilled the fruit when I was about to leave. Plus, I couldn't order coffee myself. I had to wait for nearly 20 minutes for the waiter to bring it. Overall, if you come to Ningbo for fun, it's a good place to stay. You can feel like you're on a Southeast Asian beach without going to Sanya. Plus, you can see the lake from the room. It's not far from the city or Dongqian Lake, which is very convenient.
