The Park Hyatt is an absolute gem in Beijing, located in the Chaoyang area. It's conveniently located near the CCTV headquarters and right by a metro station (Guomao). There's a mall at the bottom of the hotel so you'll have everything you need. The hotel itself is not located on the ground floor and you check in after taking an elevator. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is hip, modern and luxurious. Upon exiting the elevator you're greeted with a birds eye view of Beijing, which is breathtaking in itself. Staff are kind and courteous. You then take another elevator even higher to your room. Upon entering you're welcomed by a warm, modern, spacious and clean room. Each section of the room was intelligently separated yet still cohesive to the overall flow of the room. Everything worked perfectly and was an absolute joy to stay in. For me, what really stood out was the the view of the room. Being so high up, you'll get a lovely view of the Beijing CBD (if you're on that side). The couch was intelligently placed so you can enjoy this view comfortably at your leisure. Overall, an excellent stay, ticking all boxes on my list. Park Hyatt Beijing has been open for more than 10 years since 2008. Although it was renovated in 2019, it still shows signs of age. However, I quite like the simple and elegant room decor. 《Beijing Park Hyatt Hotel Experience: Highlights and Drawbacks》 Old fans, don't rush to try everything. Take my experience at the Beijing Park Hyatt Hotel as an example. I stayed in a room ending in 05, a northwest-facing corner room. The three north-facing windows are like a series of photos, framing the changing views of the CCTV Headquarters Building from different angles. The two west-facing windows next to the bed offer a distant view of the Western Hills, and at night, you can enjoy the view of Chang'an Avenue stretching out like a fire dragon. In my opinion, the beautiful view outside the window, both day and night, is the highlight of this room. Now, let's talk about the interior. The overall color scheme is yellowish, with sunset-like golden hues, goose-yellow curtains, natural wood tones, orange-glazed tiles, and light beige marble with dark patterns. These details seem to hide a certain pattern, subtly revealing the luxurious and grand atmosphere of the capital and the North China Plain. However, the final effect is just a yellowish feeling, due to scratches, water stains, and an old feeling. This makes me wonder if the hotel was designed this way on purpose or if it has become like this due to years of neglect. As for the interior layout, it's not ideal. The outer side has four areas: a washroom, a bathroom, a storage room, a shower area, and a bathtub. All of them are cramped and narrow, like modules awkwardly embedded on both sides of the corridor, making it look messy and fragmented. Fortunately, there is a sliding door next to the bed that can be opened and closed, so I quickly closed it tightly to avoid feeling uncomfortable. However, the hotel offers great benefits for Globalists. In addition to two welcome fruit and chocolate deliveries, they also provided a mini toiletry kit and three brand-new room cards as souvenirs. The least controversial and most recognized part of the Beijing Park Hyatt Hotel is the stunning public area, which displays works by master artists to add a finishing touch. Under different lighting, it transforms into a thousand different looks, making guests feel lucky or proud. Unfortunately, this wonderful visual experience does not extend to the pool. How to describe the pool? It doesn't have the characteristics of an internet-famous pool and is not photogenic. It's too small, the water quality is not good, the lighting is dim, and there are private lessons being taught there. It's not really possible to swim there, so you can only stand in the pool like a crab taking a bath. Now, let's talk about breakfast. The breakfast is high-end, with a nice atmosphere, and the matte silverware looks luxurious. However, the breakfast itself is just average, with almost no local specialties. It's like an old singer who started with a high pitch and had to struggle to finish the song. The applause is not because the singing is good, but because it's not easy for the singer.

This time I stayed in a Beijing CBD view suite. I went directly to the lobby on the 63rd floor to check in, and everything was arranged by the concierge. It was a smooth check-in. I was shocked when I opened the door. For the next few days, I woke up to the view of Beijing's CBD from the living room and bedroom. They also prepared a welcome gift. The bed is very big, the bathroom is dry and wet separated, there is a separate luggage room, and I love the large built-in bathtub. The breakfast is acceptable. The details and furniture are in the style of traditional Chinese courtyards and architecture. After the renovation, the guest rooms, especially the suites, have changed from the original yellow wood color to a natural light green and beige. The carpets have also been changed to a light-colored stripe design, which is simple and elegant. The smooth lines make the rooms more dynamic and bright. The hotel is located in the Yintai Center, the tallest building on Chang'an Avenue in Beijing, and the rooms offer great views of the CBD, Chang'an Avenue, the city, and the China Zun. As for the restaurants, the China Grill on the 66th floor is one of the highest Western restaurants in Beijing, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the Beijing Guomao CBD. The outdoor garden dining environment, surrounded by green trees and water features, and the play of light and shadow, all highlight the charm of Park Hyatt. For business travelers, the three-course or four-course weekday lunch set is a good choice. The China Bar on the 65th floor is a great place to have a drink at night, overlooking the magnificent night view of Beijing. The Made in China restaurant on the 63rd floor offers a menu of Cantonese and Chaozhou cuisine, and is also a great place to enjoy a quiet afternoon tea. Don't rush to book anything, Park Hyatt Beijing I guess everyone was worried about the poor experience during the National Day holiday, so they all brought forward their travel plans, which made my trip to Park Hyatt Beijing feel like the Golden Week, with people everywhere. The high-level suites I wanted to try were all sold out, and the ordinary suite coupons were rejected. The revisit instantly became a chicken rib, so I had to give up and just wanted a place to sleep. The room number ends with 05, which is a corner room facing northwest. The three windows facing north are like three consecutive shots, framing the view of the Big Pants at gradually shifting angles. The two windows facing west by the bed can overlook the Western Hills, and at night, you can enjoy the Chang'an Street that extends like a fire dragon. In my opinion, the beautiful view outside the window in the morning and evening is the greatest value of this room. The overall interior design is yellowish, with the golden yellow of the sunset, the goose yellow of the curtain, the original wood color of the whole home decoration, the orange glazed luster, the light beige dark pattern marble, etc. Various details seem to hide the context, revealing the luxury of the imperial capital and the back soil of the North China Plain. Unfortunately, in the end, only yellowing is left, which is evolved from scratches, water stains and old feelings. This leads to any scene that appears in front of me, which may be questioned whether it is intentional or caused by years of disrepair. A famous old hotel in Beijing's CBD. I was a bit nervous after reading some online reviews, but overall, it was a great stay. ✔Location: The hotel is in the heart of the CBD. The floor and location determine everything. You can see the entire CBD, including the CCTV Headquarters and China Zun. The night I went, there was a light show, which was very beautiful. ✔Room type: If you want to face the entire CBD, I recommend the CBD view room. ✔Breakfast is a highlight. It's probably the most complete Chinese breakfast I've had in a five-star hotel. There's tofu pudding, stir-fried noodles, youtiao, and jianbing guozi, which is very friendly to Chinese stomachs. The small teapots for making tea at breakfast are exquisite and stylish. ✔The hotel's public areas are all about height. Height determines everything. The lobby bar, high-rise restaurant, and Beijing Lian Bar all have great views (but the day I went, it was raining heavily and there was a lot of fog outside, so it was all white). The artworks in the lobby's public areas are probably changed regularly, so you'll see different ones at different times. ♥The hotel's service was generally good. It wasn't particularly enthusiastic, but they were responsive. There were a few hiccups during my stay. I just mentioned it to the front desk. I actually just wanted them to pay attention to it in the future and didn't complain too much. But the next day, the floor manager apologized and sent red wine. The attitude was very sincere. There are five hot dishes in the evening, all à la carte. The portions are small, but the taste is good. There are staple foods. If you want to eat more, just order more.
