It's located in the Gothic Quarter. - La Rambla / A shopping street with various shops and restaurants. Always full of people. - Mercat de la Boqueria / An indoor public market with lots to see, including food, meat, and processed foods from Spain. - Casa Milà, Casa Batlló / These are famous buildings by the genius architect Gaudi. If you travel to Barcelona, ​​you must take a Gaudi tour! - Parc Güell / If you haven't been to Casa Milà or Casa Batlló, you must visit this place. This park perfectly shows Gaudi's identity, and it's great for a walk, quiet, and has many photo spots. - Basílica de la Sagrada Família / A place you absolutely must visit in Barcelona. The Sagrada Familia Cathedral! I've been to many European cathedrals, but I think the Sagrada Familia is the most magnificent and beautiful. I highly recommend you try the audio guide tour🫶🏽 - Plaça de Gaudí / A garden in front of Sagrada Familia, famous as a Sagrada view photo spot. - Bunker MUHBA Turó de la Rovira / A viewpoint where you can see the entire city of Basel at a glance. It's famous for its sunset, but it's currently open until 6pm. - Tibidabo / An amusement park with a Ferris wheel and several rides. It's a viewpoint in Barcelona with a magnificent cathedral. Of all the places I've been to in Basel, this is probably the prettiest sunset & night view point. - Camp Nou Spotify Camp Nou / You should definitely watch an FC Barcelona game. I went when Messi was there, but it's still the best for watching La Liga games..! Watch El Clásico. - Arc de Triomf / It has a different charm from other European triumphal arches. Sometimes, small festivals are held in front of it. - La Barceloneta / Barceloneta Beach, a must-visit in summer and winter. - Castell de Montjuïc / A castle built in the 17th century, it is the symbolic castle of Barcelona. The view is great, and the fountain show at the Montjuïc fountain is the best! Barcelona is so beautiful that I've visited it 3 times, and there are so many places to visit. Spain has a Mediterranean climate, so it's warm even in winter. It's hot in midsummer, so I recommend April-June and September-October! Covering 20 hectares, Park Guell is divided into two main areas: the Monumental Zone and the free Forest Zone. Gaudi's iconic structures, such as the gingerbread houses, the lizard, and the terrace area, are located in the Monumental Zone, which requires a €10 ticket for entry. The mosaic-tiled wave benches on the terrace may look hard, but they are actually ergonomically designed for comfort. From this vantage point, you can overlook the entire Park Guell and even get a panoramic view of the city, making it an ideal spot for watching the sunrise or sunset. The most famous mascot in Park Guell is the large lizard made of colorful mosaic tiles. To take a photo with it, you have to patiently wait in line! At the main entrance, there are two fairytale-like gingerbread houses, which were originally planned as gatehouses and porters' lodgings. Now, they serve as a museum and gift shop. Park Guell is located on a hill in Barcelona. You can take Metro Line 3 and enter through the main entrance, but the downside is that you have to climb a long uphill path after getting off. Another option is to take Bus 24 and enter through the back entrance, which doesn't require climbing, but the downside is that it's farther from Gaudi's architectural complex, requiring a bit of a walk.

#citywalk I chose to go Barcelona Spain after a business trip as I wanna visit Camp Nou, the home of FC Barcelona. My ex colleague went along with me on this trip. Not only we visited Camp Nou, we also went to Park Guell, La Sagrada Familia, Barceloneta Beach, Montserrat and many more. Some of the highlights were the spectacular mountains at Montserrat, the beautiful beach at Barceloneta Beach and of course touring the stadium of Barcelona.

Park Güell is a private park located in Barcelona near La said and El Coll neighborhoods. If you are staying in Barceloneta or Barcelona Center, I will suggest you to get the metro L3 and get off and the Lesseps or Vallarta stops, which is 20 mins walking to the Park. Unfortunately, you do have to pay do get in the park. The cost of the ticket is 10 euro and it will cost extra to visit Gaudi house located in the park. I have researched a little bit and I saw that there are some ways to get into the park for FREE, however, since I was there for short time and it was a last minute plan I didn’t have time to sign up for a free entrance! If you’re curious to know how to get there please contact me! Park Guell is a large park outside of Barcelona displaying a wide array of Antoni Gaudi’s work. I never found much appeal when seeing Gaudi’s art pieces and buildings in photographs, but only after seeing the works in their original and intended settings did I understand you must “experience” Gaudi’s works to appreciate them. Park Guell was an inspirational place to walk around and admire the beautiful mosiacs, buildings, and structures. It is a bit far from Barcelona city centre, but a few different bus lines can get you there, and the trip is well worth it! #solotravel #spain #parkguell #museum #unesco

Getting There - Requires walking up a steep hill or alternatively taking the bus. The nearest metros are both a 15 min walk away and the walk is mostly up hill. Description - The park is very beautiful and the views of the city are stunning. It is the most efficient and cheapest way to take in Gaudí architecture in the city of Barcelona. Other Gaudí experiences are quite expensive to enter. This park has many Gaudí designed buildings to explore so it's certainly more value for money than any other attraction in the city. The best times to visit are on sunny days, either in the morning or afternoon when it's a bit cooler since you'll be doing a lot of walking uphill however it's important to note that the area directly around the park isn't the best for getting food/drink afterwards so plan to travel somewhere else once you're done. I would estimate that 2hrs is enough time to see the park, some photo opportunities are more crowded than others so expect to queue for the best shots, especially if there are tour groups at the time you're visiting. #barcelona #gaudi #art #spain

Mine ticket was 4pm but 3:30pm I already went in. 😊 Remember to screenshot your ticket and save in library as the connection there is terrible. You might not always connected to 4G data. Park Güell is a privatized park system composed of gardens and architectural elements located on Carmel Hill, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. When you visit here, prepare like for a small hike, as this place is up on a steep hill and it's a big garden you need time to explore fully. Make sure to grab the map at the entrance and bottle of water. The garden is big and has many sights to see, it is advisable to come here either in the morning or as out of season as you can, otherwise you can't see much of the sights due to tourists. My local friend suggested that I could spend 2 hours here, so I reserved about 3 hours before heading to another tourist spot where I bought the ticket (they popular tourist attractions there always require advance reservations with specific timeslot) but personally I could easily spend 5 hours there because of the beautifully designed houses and the pleasant walk around it. The entrance fee is a reasonable . it can be reach easily just a 15 min drive for city centre 🛺🛺. however do note that there is a distance from the entrance to the main attraction , which is the lizard . 🦎🦎can very crowded during peak season . Beautiful and spacious. You can either walk at your own pace or have a guide show you around and teach you about all of the Gaudí architecture. there are shop at the exit selling thing related to Gudi but is not cheap
