Papeete Market: The most down-to-earth place, offering a rich variety of local delicacies, Chinese food, and desserts, as well as a handicraft market and frequently performing bands. Moorea Island: Not far from the main island of Tahiti, accessible by ferry or domestic flight. Local culture attracts tourists, with a richer local cultural flavor. The best time to visit is on a Sunday morning , this is the only day where all the producers and seller set up outside The Central market .Usually, during the week, the market is open but only inside under cover The atmosphere outside in the streets very early in a Sunday morning is very different . The Polynesian get up very early . You can find everything from fresh produce to fruit , locally product , T shirt and souvenirs. You can also get a cup of locally squeezed sugar cane I wouldn’t go as far as to say it the most beautiful market of all time especially if you have the opportunity yo see some of the others in Asia or Africa . however I still find it charming with smile all over the face of almost every one . Polynesian are just so friendly #tripblazers #fallingforfall

The most magnificent area of the entire market is the central fruit and vegetable area. Tahiti women dressed in traditional costumes wear garlands and sell a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The customers who come and go are intertwined with them in this busy flow of people, forming a unique landscape. In addition to the Polynesians, Asians in the market, Europeans are also endless, making the market more diverse. Today, the Papeete market has become the most dynamic place here. When the weekend morning, there are many retailers gathered around the market, holding colorful umbrellas and drinking all kinds of special products. These little playthings, although they look very low-key, are exceptionally beautiful. Small squares in front of the market often have colorful activities, always gathering local people and holding celebrations. Whenever the weekend arrives, people line up for a long line. Until the sun is high, the world outside the market is gradually calming down. Julia pushed her young grandson and left the winding streets with the returning family.
