A must visit beach at Langkawi Island, It's called Pantai Cenang, Cenang Beach. We went to there around 5pm, we wait till the sunset. Sunset is so beautiful like a paint. Enjoy the breezy at the beach. The sea water is cool, we all take off our shoes and run to the sea. The sand is not hard, but not soft enough. We didn't enjoy the water activities such as parasailing, but still very happy with our friends. There restaurant and bar around there. I try coconut water, so refreshing and suit the vibe. There are also public toilets and place to wash your shoes and feets, so don't be worry about it if your legs and feets are fulls with sands. It is a really memorable trip to Langkawi. Unexpected trip as it all happen at the moment I manage to grab cheap ticket for rm50 round trip 3 weeks before the trip happen. P1: Sunset at pantai cenang. Manage to capture after back from a sunset kayak tour. P2: A pantai that I pass by on the way back to airport. Horse riding is available at rm10. And my trip to Langkawi was a sudden whim, as I saw a cheap plane ticket and couldn't resist clicking on it. 🌟First Encounter with Langkawi: Arriving in Langkawi in the afternoon, the car raced along narrow roads from the airport to Chenang Beach. Along the way, there were patches of lush green rice fields and mostly red-roofed bungalows, with a few tall palm trees dotted in between, standing out prominently. Looking out through the car window along the horizon, there was an endless sea, with thick clouds pressing down low. Looking further out, it was connected to the sea in a line. Green, red, blue, white, simply depicting a beautiful island. 👍Watch a sunset by the beach: After completing the check-in process, we went straight to the beach. It was close to dusk and the heat by the seaside had dissipated quite a bit. As we walked, the sky slowly turned into a golden hue, then gradually turned red, illuminating the entire sky. 🏨Accommodation information: Chenang Beach is the first choice for most people visiting Langkawi. Next to the beach is Jalan Pantai Chenang, where there are various restaurants, hotels, and small shops selling swimwear and souvenirs. Most tourists stay here and can book in advance online or find accommodations upon arrival with many options to choose from. 🚉Transportation guide: Langkawi has no public transportation, so the only way to get around the island is by taxi or rental car. Taxis here do not use meters, and each pick-up point has a price list based on distance, so we don't have to worry about drivers overcharging us or haggling over prices. From the airport, it takes about twenty minutes by taxi to get to Zhennan Beach, and the driver can take you directly to the hotel.

This is by far the best holiday destination and a very nice family friendly beach, you can go for strolls, sunbathe , or do a lot of activities. The sand is super clean, there’s plenty of beautiful sea shells to collect. We spent 10 nights at Cenang Beach, Langkawi, Malaysia. Every evening we get to see this absolutely gorgeous sunset. During the day, you can simply chill on the 2km sandy white beach which is also full of water activities like parasailing, jetski, banana boat ride, etc. Restaurants and bars line the shoreline of the beautiful beach day and night with a fire show every night. We had a few sunset dinners by the beach and enjoyed the amazing sunset while we dine and also the fire shows after dinner. In the night, the main Cenang street is just as vibrant with restaurants, bars and desserts shops to keep you entertained.

They seems to start operating at noon. A bit hard to find place for breakfast but we managed to find a local restaurant that serving both local and western selection.

In the morning, walk out to have coffee, toast and soft-boiled eggs at Oldtown White Coffee at Cenang Mall and walk down to Cenang Beach in the late morning. The beach is wide and beautiful, especially the side near the airport. There are luxury hotels and resorts. The beach has fine white sand, is wide and not disturbed by water sports. The middle of the beach is long on the other side, bustling with water sports shops, bars, restaurants and bungalows. I have been to Langkawi 3 times but never been to this beach. I was very surprised because the beach is very beautiful. The cool breeze is comfortable to walk at noon. In the evening, there are many fire baton shows to watch. After the sun sets, come to eat and drink on the beach. It is very enjoyable.

Islandish is ala Thai seafood restaurant located Jalan Pantai Cenang, opposite the Underwater World Langkawi. The waitress are very friendly and good at recommending the food that best suit your taste. I tried their Thai Fried Rice as one of the best fried rice at this restaurant. Besides that, I also ordered Green Curry Chicken and Omelette. The food is simple and delicious with a very reasonable price.

They do sell plenty of clothing, souvenirs, water sport gearing and duty free items such as chocolates, perfume, and alcohol. Convenient shop, car rental, tour package and the eatery also available here. Despite the crowded, it’s actually very safe here, even if you are travel alone. A choices of Mee Kuning, Kueh Tiaw or Mee Hoon to be include in your Bakso (Meat Ball). You can try their Special Bakso, where they include the giant size bakso into your meal. To exchange the taste, you can add on the spices which is really spicy and the shrimp gravy.
