Bali | Southern Paradise: A Poetic Journey at Pandawa Beach
Bali has many famous beaches, such as Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, etc., which are all in the urban area. The downside is that the water is not clean, and there are a lot of people. On the south side of the island, the water is very clean. When I went to the cliff road, I passed by a Pandawa Beach, which is less known, with many locals, and the water is very clean, and you can also row on the relatively calm sea.
🌈Highlights:
👉 Pandawa Beach is definitely worth a visit, not only for its beautiful scenery, but also because the water here is relatively shallow. Near the beach, you don't have to worry about the waves being too big, and there are many leisure kayaking facilities to choose from. You can also pay to rent a beach chair with a sun umbrella. There are many Hindu sculptures along the shore, which are very large and also worth seeing.
👉Pandawa Beach has complete beach facilities, including toilets, showers, and changing rooms. There are also convenience stores, multiple restaurants, snack stalls, spa centers, and ample parking spaces. The beach activities are diverse, with bigger waves in the distance, suitable for intermediate to advanced surfers. For safety, you can canoe, or just relax under the sun.
👉Along the beach, there are many small restaurants offering very cheap traditional Balinese food or fresh juices. There are also beach clubs, such as Roosterfish Beach Club, which are characteristic of Bali, with large pools by the sea, where you can experience a very relaxed local atmosphere. They offer a variety of food, delicious cocktails, and even some craft beers.
🚗Address & Transportation:
👉This less-known beach is located near Kutuh Village on the Bukit Peninsula in South Bali. If you are staying in the Uluwatu area, it is very convenient to get there by renting a motorcycle, just navigate to the viewpoint on Pandawa Beach Road.
👉For tourists coming from urban areas like Kuta, Seminyak, or Canggu, it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours by taxi. The urban area is unbelievably congested.
🎫Ticket Information:
Pandawa Beach's entrance fee is 15,000 Indonesian Rupiah, which needs to be paid at the ticket booth at the entrance to the beach.
📝Tips:
Pandawa Beach is famous for its unique limestone cliffs and a variety of activity options, making it one of Bali's beautiful white sand beaches not to be missed. The small paths between the nearby cliffs are very photogenic and popular on social media, and you can enjoy them together.
