I visited the Polcon Cafe!! 📍Polcon River Garden Address: 1074 Bukhangang-ro, Hwado-eup, Namyangju-si Hours: Every day 10:00-22:00 Parking: The yard is spacious, so there's plenty of room. Polcon Cafe is known for its smiley face theme! 😊 Although it's a franchise cafe, I think the view at the Namyangju branch is No.1. It's the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee while looking at the Bukhan River!! ☕️ I went on the weekend, and it was super crowded... I think it might be less crowded on weekdays. 😋 The yard is also very spacious, so if the weather is nice, I recommend dining outside. There's also a photo zone outside where you can take pictures with a smiley face. I took some photos on the terrace because I loved the green scenery! In Paldang, Spring time harvest includes leafy sprouts called Minari (미나리) and they usually were made onto flour pancake. This restaurant, called JayeonAe, means Natural Love, prepares their pancake with only 5% flour used and 95% sprouts which made the pancake with generous spread of greens. For cyclists and hikers, they will generally stop by this area to have this delicacy before continuing their journey, to replenish their lost energy.
