Li Zicheng's palace in Mizhi is a major tourist highlight, located at the southern foot of Panlong Mountain north of Mizhi County. It was built in the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty (1643 AD) and is a relatively complete architectural group of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the northwest region.
