#gohiking this is a very special place in Pai. first it’s one of the best place to watch sunset, lots of locals coming here to watch sunset. secondly, the road is not well paved yet the walk is very scenic and you can enjoy the stunning valley view as you walk around. it’s also free of charge, the hike itself could be challenging since the routes are not constructed well. however it’s worth visiting

Enough of the little town of pai, the food in pai why not head out right outside of pai towards the pai canyon which is only a short 12mins drive down south from the little village of pai. The Pai Canyon is a tourists attraction, and although this is a tourists attraction this place is free to visit, if you do not have a transport from the pai village you can also rent a motorbike for only 150baht but utmost care is recommended. Do remember when doing this hike, do wear a good pair of walking shoes as the hike after the 1st view points can get abit scary as the hike has an unprotected hiking path where the drops can be scary if you miss a footing. But most people come here for the scenic panoramic sunset from above but the further you hike in, the more quiet and pristine it gets. I don't know if it's true or not, but what I saw with my own eyes was a natural phenomenon that created cracks in the soil and rock layers. The path will have cracks. There will be signs prohibiting entry at points where you can't walk. The path looks strange. You should try to come and visit. Walk slowly at each point. I don't recommend it if you're afraid of heights. Even when I walked by myself, I felt scared at some points where there were a lot of cracks. I recommend coming during the weak sunlight in the morning or 3 pm. It will be easier to walk and not too hot. Wear shoes with non-slip heels and good grip on the ground. Be careful not to slip and slide. The path will be sandy. If you come during the rainy season, I don't recommend it.

#Pai Travel I visited Pai during this time. It is a mecca for hippies.... Currently, there is only one bus a day to Pai. 11 AM I was worried because the road to Pai is famous for being rough, but guess what? I didn't feel even a gram of motion sickness. At least I was fine. People who get motion sickness badly should definitely take motion sickness medicine. After checking passports at the entrance of Pai, we went into Pai. Pai also doesn't have many tourists. Banjabo sunrise is nice. There is only one restaurant operating on the cliff (not so good) Pai Canyon is also empty.....ㅋㅋ Right now, there are almost no people in the tourist destination. Still, Pai is quiet and leisurely, so I really like it. I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, but my recommendation is Banjabo The rest is near Pai city, so I recommend renting a motorbike and going around (100 baht per day). This place would be perfect for a week. Anyway, the pie was good.

Pai is well known as a laid back mountain town set in a pretty valley with a bohemian atmosphere. Entrance is free but there is a box where you can donate 1 baht. The hike up is only 3min. Wear nice shoes if you want to go further into the canyon because the way is very slippery. There is a lot of people at this time because all the tours come here but you have plenty of space if you go further so it’s fine.
