If you’re in Uluwatu, Bali, check out Padang Padang Beach! This beach is pretty popular despite it being on the smaller side. As a tourist, I had to pay a non-domestic ticket price to visit the beach. The beach is located down a short flight of stairs. Once on the beach, you’ll be greeted with a beautiful sandy beach, some incredible rocks along the coast and peddlers touting their wares. Don’t worry though, if you politely decline, they won’t disturb you. Come prepared with necessities you need for the afternoon. Unfortunately we soon discovered the beach wasnt family friendly nor was it the appropriate environment for children. I have 2 teenagers (15,17) and a 5yr old. Despite the disappointment the location offers a stunning view. Please note, you walk down through a cave with stairs (very beautiful) but to go back you climb very steep stairs which can be very difficult for those with mobility issues.
