Maadhoo OZEN Reserve Bolifushi
🇲🇻There will be someone to pick you up at Male airport, and there is also a lounge. When we arrived, we just caught their speedboat and got on board directly.
The speedboat is quite high-end, with a spacious seating area for about 10 people. The sofa chairs are also very comfortable, and drinks are provided. It's very close to Ishigaki and Maldives, and it takes about 25 minutes to get there.
🛝Stayed at Ozen R.B. for 5 nights over Christmas, I chose 2 nights in a water villa with a slide and 3 nights in a regular water villa. I prefer water villas. This time I saw many natural creatures, and every evening in front of the water villa, you can see many seagulls catching fish. There is also a bird that I don't know the name of, similar to a crane, that often visits your water villa.
The slide is very fun, kids love it. My one is almost 7 years old and the other is almost 9 years old. They can swim, but the water is quite deep when sliding down. It is not recommended for young children who are not good at swimming. Don't choose it just because the slide is popular, and the price is relatively expensive! Especially during holidays.
Before and after Christmas, there are programs arranged every day, which are very interesting, and the food is also good! The children are also very happy to receive gifts from Santa Claus, and the way Santa Claus appears is also very special and funny! There is an Indian restaurant where the food is not suitable for Asians, but they wash their hands before eating, and the water they use to wash their hands smells really good!
🐠🐟🐡🐋The room allows for direct snorkeling, with so many fish around. We even tried swimming directly from the room to the beach 😂. Every evening at 5:30, someone feeds the devil fish (I don't know their exact name) and there are also small sharks. For those taking photos, be careful as there are three poisonous spines on their tails. They are gentle and won't attack humans, but accidentally getting stung can be very toxic. Some places intentionally remove these spines, but on this island they are wild and haven't been removed, so be careful!
🎄On Christmas night, we saw blue tears on the beach next to our water villa. In the last two photos, we didn't understand before, but we felt very magical and excited. Actually, they are a kind of bioluminescent organism in the water. They only glow when there are waves. As long as we flip the sand, they will become brighter and brighter. We stayed in the Maldives for more than two weeks and only discovered that there are many of these organisms there after going out to sea a few times. During a night fishing trip, I stirred the water and a group of sparkling and glowing creatures appeared. Details will be written in the next post 😂.
