Xinjiang | Discover the secrets of the Aoyi Takte Red Valley in Southern Xinjiang's Pamir Plateau
It's true that every landscape in Southern Xinjiang is stunning!
⛰️ You must visit the Aoyi Takte Red Valley!! It's absolutely incredible! It feels like viewing the colorful Danxia landforms, but even more mysterious, and you can step into the entire mountain, surrounded by the red hills. This spot is so off the beaten path, there are hardly any tourists.
🔴 The whole Red Valley is very "red," characterized by Yardang landforms. It is constantly sculpted by the forces of nature, water, and wind, creating bizarrely shaped mountains. If you keep walking inside, it feels like you could go on for a long time... It was too hot in the summer, so we only stayed for about half an hour~

Must-visit series in Southern Xinjiang - Oytagh Glacier
Oytagh Glacier Park, also known as Kizilsu Glacier Park, is located in Oytagh Town, Akto County, Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture, located in the Pamir Plateau, on the China-Pakistan border.
The snow mountain is called Ayilani Snow Mountain (altitude 6684 meters), with a large number of rare low-latitude glaciers distributed, among which the Kraz Glacier is only 2804 meters above sea level, which is the lowest glacier in China. Oytagh is an ancient Turkic language, meaning "depression in the mountains", which shows its low altitude characteristics.
120 kilometers away from Kashgar, you can reach it by taking the U-red line branch road along G314 from Kashgar, about 2 hours in total.
After entering the scenic area, you need to take the scenic area bus to reach the inside of the scenic area. It takes about three hours to walk in the scenic area, with not high climbing, about 3km one way. There are services for riding horses up the mountain, and there are wild sheep and horses on the roadside.
The overall journey is not much, it is recommended as a scenic spot on the way from Kashgar to Taxkorgan, and continue to rush to Tashkurgan after watching.
