Find someone who is staying at one of the largest condominium located on the eastern side in Singapore. It is located at Treasure at Tampines, 15 minutes walk from Our Tampines Hub. There are a total of 11 swimming pools here and some of these pools are catered exclusively for the children. They have awesome facilities here at the clubhouse and the children pool is 0.9 meters. The facilities are new and there is a good mix of residents here. Our Tampines Hub hawker centre

This is my first time visiting Our Tampine Hub and I also brought my overseas friends too. They told me they wanted to try eating at our hawker centres and this integrated hawker centre will be interesting for us to try. Firstly, this entire place is sheltered and air circulation is good. The hawker centre shares the same roof and it is clean and organised. We do not feel claustrophobic at all and there are plenty of tables too. We can order the dishes from each stall and there is also a great tray returning system. Hopefully, all the existing hawker centres can be upgraded to this format. #wecreate #singapore

Our Tampines Hub

Follow me to a modern design of an integrated stadium and lifestyle mall in the heart of a neighbourhood. You can come over to OTH easily by public bus or take the MRT and alight at Tampines station. It is a super huge stadium with many ongoing activities for all ages. There are always many events taking place at the atrium area too. This stadium is also sheltered so there is no need to worry about the rain. Even though it is always crowded here, there is plenty of space so people are scattered around. What makes a plate of seafood white bee hoon so satisfying is the soup broth that is used to cook the bee hoon and the freshness of the seafood in the dish. Head over to House of White Bee Hoon restaurant at level 1 of Our Tampines Hub and you can get a plate of soupy slurpy seafood white bee hoon. Their signature white bee hoon dish has a very flavourful broth and it is filled with fresh seafood. Their portion is huge and that explains why price is slightly on the steeper side but their food is oh so yummy! If you would like to try a different version of the white bee hoon, there's even a Mala spicy version. If you're a rice person, then do try their black truffle fried rice which the restaurant highly recommend. If you come on a weekday, House of White Bee hoon has a weekday lunch set promotion. At $14.80, you will get a main, side and a drink, a very reasonable deal. visited our tampines hub today for lunch and some exploration to the east side of singapore The Location is extremely convenient with 3 malls (tampines mall, tampines one and century square) all situated nearby to the tampines mrt stop on the green line and tampines east mrt stop on the blue line. The building is beautifully designed with green elements built into the spacious communal areas. Fresh Bread & Cakes for Tea

I always love a bakery that is honest and bakes freshly made items to sell on a daily basis. It is even better if the bakery has a ton of choices for me to choose from for either breakfast or for my afternoon tea break. Fortunately, I am able to find such a bakery who never sells overnight baked goods. That means everyday you will be getting fresh breads and cakes. This bakery is called Ken Jinn and their policy to not sell overnight goods are prominently displayed in their shop. Besides breads, there are a wide selection of sweet and savoury buns, colourful delicious cakes and different types of pastries. You see puff pastries such as sardine puff and curry puff, and then there's egg tarts and even your Shao baos and waffles. I am so spoilt with choices in this bakery, till I feel like buying the whole shop! If you would like a good bargain, Ken Jinn bakery is running a promotion right now. There is a hipster more than I'm sure many easties are aware of in Tampines! Tampines Hub is located at 1 Tampines Walk that features one of the largest integrated community and lifestyle in a mall. You will be able to find 6 swimming pools located on the 6th floor of Tampines Hub. There are also Basketball courts, Volleyball courts and also a soccer field located all in the Hub. On the top floor, there are also electric bbq pit for booking for all to use! This time another pasar malam at Tampines Ave 4. It is a great experience to visit the pasar malam and check out what are the latest food trends. Usually, these pasar malam are set up in high density areas so there are high footfalls. As you can always see these pasar malam next to MRT stations and shopping centres. For those bigger pasar malam, you can always see the games area being set up and you can play these games. Sometimes, there is even an amusement park too.

#thingstodo If you are planning to visit this mega sports wellness centre here in Singapore, you can visit the Tampines hub located at the east of Singapore. You can take a train at the east west line and alight at the Tampines train station. Take a ten minute walk and you will reach here. This is a sports hub where you can have a wide range of sports activities within the hub . They even have an indoor running track at the level five of the sports hub. This is totally amazing and exciting for sports lovers. You can also have table tennis or a football game there too.

There is a huge main stage with an extremely huge screen in the middle of the Tampines hub which showcases some of the popular movies. You can also have fun taking pictures around the place .There is even a stadium and foot ball field within the hub itself. It is really a great place for you to have your exercises here and keep yourself healthy . After your walk you can have a meal at the restaurant in the area.

There is always a night market right outside Tampines area and this place has high footfall. These food stalls are also open in the day and it is also the least crowded timing. You get to try more variety and save time in queuing. It is also convenient to make cashless payment because many vendors are accepting paynow. Most of the food stalls are selling overseas food and they command long queue during dinner time. Most of these food stalls are not permanent as they go around the night markets in Singapore. Our Tampines Hub is the modern one stop facility for sports enthusiasts staying in the Eastern. I am here every Monday for Aikido leason and never failed to awe by the magnificent and buzzing activities. In terms of food choices, think they are sufficient for non choosy people. Usually people will go for a quickie after workout and no need to have atas and romantic restaurants.

The stadium in Our Tampines Hub aka OTH is not only a place where football happens. This was also the place where many young men went through their Passing Out Parade aka POP. Rooftop Community Garden

#mysgmemories #tripblazers I simply love the rooftop garden that is located in the tampines area. As more and more people cultivate the habit of growing our own vegetables, it is vital for us to have the space to grow them. The rooftop garden provided opportunities for us to do it. There were plenty of plants, mostly edibles. From our daily vegetables such as Pak Choy, kale, cucumber, pumpkin, to fruits such as the lemon, papaya, and even apple tree, was planted there. For those who are into planting as a hobby, can visit our tampines hub to take a look.

Family fun with cheap food in the suburbs

Basement one has an indoor playground which is complimentary and aircon! Seats surrounding the playground ensure adults can eyeball the kids while they are enclosed within the fence. It’s next to a lift lobby and near the subway eatery. After which do proceed to the food court on level 1 for cheap eats! We tried ippon which is yummy albeit the portion is not big. Botak Cantonese Porridge

There is a cantonese porridge stall with a very cute name at our Tampines hub hawker center. This porridge stall is called Botak cantonese porridge and Botak means bald headed. I do know the reason behind the stall name because neither of their staff are bald but one thing is for sure. Their porridge is really delicious and you see a steady line of people queuing for bowls of this hot comforting porridge. As how cantonese porridge should be, it is thick, flavourful and comes with lots of ingredients. There are many porridge to choose from, such as fish porridge, pork ball porridge, century egg porridge, etc. Garnish and sesame oil drizzles are given for that extra oomph. The stall even earned themself the 'Most nominated favourite hawker in Singapore' award and this perhaps explain the long queues for their yummy porridge. #tripblazers #foodie

Highlights - All in one services here Rating - 4/5 Our Tampines Hub is not just a normal community centre but an integrated one which have services ranging from HDB hub, self help desks, swimming pool, gym, courts for rent, etc. I love the rainbow ceilings very much (this is only on at night thus come here to view it when night falls) Our Tampines Hub is also considered a 4th mall in Tampines too as they have some retails ships and food outlets as well. At the open area near the stage, live singing is also back on just last month as well! Depending on the date and schedule, sometimes they also shows free movies too. For swimmers, there is actually 2 pool avaliable to use. one outdoor and one is sheltered indoor which comes in handy if it rains but do take note that the sheltered one is deeper at 2.0 meters. There is no need to book any time slot anymore as well and you can just walk in after paying it by the Active SG wallet and use the QR code to enter into the swimming pool area.
