Over time, an artificial island was formed, and then the Notre Dame was built. There is a church of Our Lady of the Rocks and a museum on the island. The paintings and statues attached inside the church remind us of the depth of tradition and faith. My visit was an unforgettable spiritual experience.

The tradition of throwing rocks into the sea is still ongoing. In 1632, a Roman Catholic church was established on the island, building a church of Our Lady, which is said to protect fishermen when they go out to sea.
