🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities:
“Mo” means grassland in Okinawa, and “Manzamo” means a large grassland that can accommodate 10,000 people. It is said that it was named by the Ryukyu King at that time. "Mazamo" is an area of Okinawa Coast Quasi-National Park. You can imagine it as a seaside park. It is not very large and it takes at most 10 minutes to walk along the trail. Sometimes the wind is very strong and you have to wear too many things.
In the past, after parking your car in the parking lot, you would walk in and see a whole row of gift vendors. Now, a "Manzamo Surrounding Activation Facility" has been built, and the parking lot next to it has also become more complete. The most important thing is that parking is free, but there are not many parking spaces. You can also take Okinawa Bus No. 120 and get off at Manzamo-mae. This facility houses a service center, gift shop, restaurant, toilet, etc. At the very back is the ticket machine, which can be switched to Chinese and costs ¥100. Just 5 minutes outside the outdoor walking trail, you can see the famous Mammoth Trunk Rock, which is formed by Ryukyu limestone and is eroded by sea water all year round.
If you want to take photos, try to arrive in the morning so that there will be less backlight. The best time to take photos of the sunset is before 16:00 in the afternoon to get the best position. If the weather is good, all the photos will look good. Walking along the trail, you can see various strange rocks, coral reefs, and even underwater creatures. On the other side, the sailboat-shaped "ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Hotel" is hard to see in the distance, as well as "Meotoiwa Rocks" and "Mandao Beach". There are jet skis and other water activities on the sea from time to time. The summer in Okinawa is really comfortable.
